Strong, tasty and pleasant to drink.

I've been using these beans as my standard brew for about 4 years. Unfortunately it goes out of stock in early summer and doesn't come back until the next harvest has percolated through. Bad, a window of unavailability; Good, fresh beans and refusal to compromise standards. A good, thick, oily taste with a definite kick. Excellent crema. A good upfront hit, but with a subtle and complex after taste. Good for those who like an italian style shot of espresso.

Strong George is definitely that, brewed in my Chemex very dark, rich full bodied but surprisingly not bitter, it's very well rounded and indulgent, I have it black but would be very suitable for milk based coffees. I'm always trying new beans and these are maybe the best I've had.

Based on my order history I've ordered about 60kg of this over the years. Hands down the best blend.

Very nice and the special thing about it is that it is a slow roaster.

To be fair is a good coffee but if you are looking for strong flavors and aromas this is not the one, i bought it due to the fact that is difficult to find dark roast coffee in amazon UK, i had dark roast in the past and strong George i thing needs more to get there, flavor and aroma is like a light roast coffee there is medium roast blends that are a lot more aromatic and with a stronger flavor and in better price, overall i thing it needs more roast to reach the flavors and the aromas of a dark roast and it is a little bit price compere to others.

Makes Excellent smooth tasting coffee Have used it for years have not found another coffee I like as much .

I was looking for a 100% arabica (strength 5) coffee because I like it strong. This one is smooth, not bitter but not as strong as I would have liked it to be although I definitely put more than needed into the grinder.
