Humtto is a Chinese brand (at least the alternate choice on their website is in Mandarin). Their website subtitle is Fashion Light Outdoor and if that's not particularly compelling it is descriptive of these shoes. I ordered the shoes to have a pair to hike in during a trip to Iceland and they were perfect. They really are lightweight, but solid. I beat them up pretty good on the hiking trail and at the end of the trip, they were as solid as they were when I started. The stitching and engineering is tight and solid. The soles are solid and were great even on broken and uneven ground. They really do breathe effectively without sacrificing the water resistant exterior. Even hiking in a rainstorm, my feet stayed dry and aerated. If you are looking for a great pair of shoes for hiking or everyday, I recommend these. They have already become my everyday go to shoes since I got back from trip.

My spouse and I both got these to hike in Denver. Zero need for break in. Warm enough for a snowy hike. Stayed dry and comfy right from the box. Would highly recommend! Nice looking for any gender and easy on the wallet.
