I was looking for healthier protein jerky as snack, and read somewhere about jackfruit. Very pleasantly surprised about this find! It’s tasty, nice chewy texture, a bit more dry than you’d expect with beef probably, but really good, and a lot healthier. The BBQ flavor was intense without being overpowering. Seems like a nice small business too — and there are a few heavy hitter brands that don’t seem as good, both in terms of business and ingredients. Only downside is I ate it too fast :)

the flavor was fine: but the texture was aa dry as saw dust. I let them soak in water until they were soft; but they still tasted dry. I tried eating them all because I hate wasting anything, and really wanted to like them. I finally gave up and threw the last bag away. I am not picky and able to tolerate most foods; but I met my match with this jerky.

Jack & Friends jackfruit jerky really surprised me. The texture is spot-on! chewy like real jerky, and the flavor is bold without being too sweet or salty. I LOVED the Tomato & Pablano Pepper - it's unique and hits just right!! It’s a great option whether you’re vegan or just looking to snack a little smarter. Clean ingredients, good protein, and no weird aftertaste. I’ve started keeping a bag in my car and it’s quickly become a go-to.

As a huge lover of jackfruit, I was super excited to see this product! I got the Sweet Barbecue flavor and it's packed with savory flavor! I've been vegan for about 15 years and really care about my health so I love the simple list of clean ingredients that I can actually read. Some of my friends call me the "snack queen", I will definitely be telling them about these and stoked to add them to my upcoming road-trip travel bag, YAY! Thanks so much for creating this product, I'm looking forward to trying out the other flavors too!

I have had jerky from jackfruit and I enjoyed it, but this brand was awful! Seriously bad…all three flavors. So bad my dogs wouldn’t eat it and they eat everything. Had I known I could have returned them I would have, maybe I can dig them out of the garbage to return. Seriously, don’t waste your money, there are better brands out there.

I like the texture and flavor but it’s kind of pricey?

I thought this was a very good product. The texture is similar to meat jerkey. I think those who are vegan, vegetarian or trying to cut down on eating meat would enjoy this product. We ordered both the Ginger Teriyaki and the Sweet Barbeque. While I enjoyed both flavors I do prefer the Ginger Teriyaki.

I shared this jerky with my boyfriend--I'm vegetarian, he isn't, but he's supposed to stay away from sugar for dietary reasons. We both loved it! I've been vegetarian for about 14 years, and this confirms to me that meat substitutes have come a long way since then. The texture was fantastic, it has a bit of chew to it but not excessively so, and the teriyaki flavor was fun--it's not overpowering, just adds the right amount of tangy goodness. My boyfriend was pretty skeptical that he would like it as someone who used to eat beef jerky regularly, but he really did. He was sad when we finished the pack!
