LOVE this. The grand kids all have the link and get notified when we have visitors. The AI detection is pretty good, it is accurate about 95% of the time. The camera quality and images are very good. I did end up creating a different pole as varmints jumped and pulled the original over. This is only to know and would not deter me from purchasing again.

Great gift for grandparents that enjoy birds and the outdoors but can’t always go out.

I’ve had this for a few months now and am overall happy with this purchase but there are some cons. Pros: - cute design - cheaper than competitors - set up was pretty easy - solar panel works great; my camera is always fully charged and the solar panel is in partial shade. - app is easy to use and functional Cons: - after some months of use, the paint on top of the birdhouse is peeling away and looks bad. - similarly, the latch on the roof where you put in the birdseed has stopped working, so I can’t secure the roof of the birdhouse

I've had my feeder on my fence for about 2 weeks now and am loving all the visitors. The camera quality is excellent, assembly was easy and the packaging was absolutely excellent. I use only safflower seeds, so no squirrels. The identification feature is awesome as well as the still shots provided along with video.

I originally purchased a different brand of a similar product and it wouldn’t connect to my 5g network, so I returned it. I decided to try again and purchased this wood looking model from Birdfy. Based on a YouTube video for this model I realized all we needed to do was to move far enough away from our router because the 2.5g will connect the farther away you are, while the 5g doesn’t reach that far. Loving the video moments of the robins and blue jays, not loving the videos of the tree in the background that moves with the wind! Tip, try to mount in an area where the background moves regularly, you’ll get a lot of videos of that movement rather than the birds.

I am Tim's wife. I bought this as a surprise birthday gift as Tim is an avid bird lover. I thought it would a gift he would enjoy but that is not the case. He is very cautious about wi-fi and is concerned about having to enter our router #. We are not tech savvy people and unfortunately this gift has been a "bomb" as opposed to a joyful gift which I had imagined. I bought it early on sale and hid it carefully until his birthday on May 8. Now we learn it is past 30 days of purchase and cannot be returned. What a disappointment all around!!!!
