Light and powerful
Works really well with a five amp battery although smaller batteries are lighter the runtime can be quite short so ideally four to seven and a half amp battery works well depending on the amount of leaves in your yard i like the balance and pull the trigger to your speed the press the trigger lock to save having to squeeze the throttle trigger i prefer this over the 7650 and the LBX1000 but they all do a similar job of dispatching unwanted leaves this works on uk battery too

Works extremely well. Most powerful Ego residential leaf blower. Battery dies a little quick but that is expected with a 880cfm blower. Has a neat screen which is a little gimmicky but still nice. A little hard to lock in the speed you want as it never gets it right for me but I am sure I just need some practice. Looking forward to also using it in the winter for some light snow clearing.

I’ve been a long-time user of the EGO 670 CFM model, but I upgraded to the 880 CFM looking for that extra "punch." After several weeks of use—including clearing light snow and heavy autumn leaves—here is how it compares. The "Highs": • Performance: The 880 CFM is a beast. While it handles leaves easily, the real win for me is using it for light snow. It clears walkways, decks, and cars in half the time my 670 did. • Ergonomics: Despite the power, it’s surprisingly comfortable. If you use a smaller battery, it’s remarkably lightweight. It feels well-balanced in the hand, which reduces wrist fatigue during longer sessions. • Build Quality: The carbon fiber components make it feel premium and durable without adding unnecessary bulk. The "Lows": • Battery Hungry: This is the trade-off for that extra performance. It is significantly more "fuel-hungry" than the 670 CFM. If you plan on using Turbo mode frequently, you’ll want at least a 5.0Ah or 7.5Ah battery on standby. • Inaccurate Fuel Gauge: The digital display looks modern, but I found it to be more "eye candy" than a functional tool. The percentage/bars don't always reflect the actual juice left. • The Turbo "Drop-Off": My biggest gripe is that Turbo mode becomes unavailable once the battery hits the two-bar mark. It seems the tool limits power to protect the battery, but it’s frustrating when you have a stubborn patch of wet leaves and the "880" power you paid for suddenly cuts out while you still have 30-40% battery left. Comparison to the 670 CFM: If you are just doing dry leaves on a flat lawn, the 670 is likely enough and more efficient. However, if you deal with wet debris or snow, the 880’s peak performance is worth the upgrade—just be prepared to manage your batteries more closely.
