Outstanding Product - Well Worth The Price
I was raised on single action revolvers. It started out when I got a pair of cap guns resembling Peacemakers for my 6th Birthday. I cleaned up the neighborhood. I ridded the community of bandits, bank robbers, rustlers and other two-legged varmint. It sometimes got me in trouble, but I was fearless and well armed. Later on, I got my first real gun. It was a Ruger Single Six. A few years later, I afforded a pair of Colt SAA in .45 Colt, followed by a few more. I still have 3 of these. These days, I don't get to the range much. I had bought a few air guns, mostly the CO2 type. I can shoot these in the house using a good pellet trap which I have 3 of them. The other day, while ogling and cleaning my precious Peacemakers, it occurred to me that Umarex makes these in .177 cal pellet, CO2 powered. I did some research and turned around and ordered one. I was a little skeptical, but the price was not prohibitive. On the day it came, I fell in love. This CO2 powered Colt SAA by far exceeded my expectations. I am amazed by its accuracy. On mine, the sights are right on. The ejection rod is functional but not really needed. In fact, when the gun is canted, muzzle up, the cartridges fall out by themselves. I dropped the first one on the floor, not expecting this. I got used to it. On the real Colt, the base pin can be removed in order to take the cylinder out of the frame for cleaning. On the Umarex replica one needs tools to do so. But with this gun that is not really necessary, and I do not recommend you mess with this. Just leave the cylinder in its place. I also ordered more cartridges to supplement the 6 silver colored ones it came with. I bought 3 sets of the gold/brass colored ones. They function just like the silver ones, but they cost less. Now, these cartridges do not resemble the actual .45 Colt ammo. Instead, they look a lot like .357 Mags. This does not bother me. If I want to show off I stick the Umarex into one of my Western style holsters/belts the loops of which are filled with .45 Colt cartridges. This revolver looks and feels like the real thing, and it weighs and balances the same. The grips are not like any I ever saw and laid my hands on, but they are very nice looking. I just pretend they are custom made which they are, in a sense. Cosmetically, this gun looks amazingly like the real thing. There is one visible deviation from the real article. On the grip frame, right where the hammer and the frame meet, there is some black in color polymer type insert. I guess this has to do with it being a CO2 powered replica. There is nothing one can do about this. I can live with it. I tested it on my 8 meter range in my shop. I use RWS Meisterkugeln pellets, the only ones I ever use as they have always worked for me, for decades. My first group of 6 shots were right on target and I could cover the hole with a Nickel. I guess I was a little flakey from all the excitement about this new gun. The next day, I shot 3 more groups of six rounds all of them I could easily cover with a dime. Well, I have decades of experience with all kinds of air guns and fire arms including US Army MP Corps for nigh 8 years. Overall, I am very very pleased with this version of a Peacemaker. I can only recommend to all who have knack for it. You won't be sorry.

Very close to the real deal.
Good size and quality. Needed a prop and it fits perfectly. It looks authentic and functions just as well. Whether you need it as a prop or just something to put up on your wall, it looks authentic and 99% of people couldn't tell the difference. It has a proper safety switch, it feels comparably heavy, and works as intended.

Fantastic
I read all the reviews especially the bad ones. After shooting the revolver I came to the conclusion that this is an excellent replica and a great shooter. I am an avid shooter, have been for 50 years and I love this Colt SAA pellet revolver. It looks and feels like a real one. That said it also shoots fantastic, dead on. At 10 yards I can put every shot in a 2 inch target. I can place a quarter on hits and cover them up. at 13 yards I can cover the hits with a half dollar. Some folks complain about the slow reloading process, to me that is part of the shooting, it gives you time to analyze your shots and adjust. But if you need faster reloading use a pellet pen, just leave cartridges in gun and use pellet pen and boom in about 6 seconds you are reloaded. If you love shooting western style six shooters you can't go wrong with this one. Definitely Recommend. For target shooting I recommend the 7 grain RWS Meisterkugeln pellets. For small pest up to squirrel size I recommend the 7 grain Swiss Arms pointed pellet, it increases velocity by about and extra 40 fps bringing the velocity up to 420 fps. 7 Aug. 2017. Well I'm back after over 500 shots later and this revolver is awesome. Not only is it fun to shoot, it's extremely accurate as I said before, but it's also a beautiful piece.

Not Exact But Decent
I own a pair of Single Action Army revolvers. I ended up going to Halloween party dressed in my Western wear and couldn't bring the firearms because that's pretty frowned upon (having real ones). So I purchased a set of these airsoft revolvers. This can at least be decent props in my holster. When they arrived and I popped open the box I could immediately appreciate the build quality. They looked real. When I picked them up, they felt real. Very solid heavy metal construction with small changes made for functionality. Now in looking at the store photos I didn't expect the issues I have with them. First problem, they're always in a half cock mode. If nothing else, you might get something caught on it or break it. If the hammer would stay forward that would be great. The safety near the trigger looks awful. If only they made it a nickel/silver color to blend in. The worst part is the tool hole at the bottom of the grip. It stands out like crazy and could have been hidden in the grip. That aside, if you're not looking for a replica but something "close enough", this will do. If you're hoping for something more realistic, find a non-firing version somewhere. I've added a comparison photo of the airsoft vs real thing. It really is a great close enough little revolver.

Perfect Replica.
Feels like the real thing. Perfect size, and balance. Sight is good and shoots pellets on target. Shot a golf ball at 10 yards more than once. Great power, easy to load. Safety is a must with this pistol it is not a toy. Fits in my cowboy holster Perfect! Very happy with this one.
