Haven’t fully used it but the comparison from this one from my shein one is CRAZY. Literally feels so insanely soft, and amazingly good silk for its price. I usually have trouble with the usual tying bonnets but this one has a loop so it doesn’t fall off and is so helpful, ( coming from a crazy sleeper).

This is not as much a review for this particular silk bonnet as it is a review of silk bonnets in general and my limited experience. This may be a really nice bonnet (it most certainly looks well made), but I cannot say, as I do not have another bonnet to compare it to. I guess, not everyone can wear these, as is my case. I have very silky, baby fine and straight hair that is prone to static and fly-aways. I wanted to try out silk to see if it would eliminate the static. As pure silk pillowcases are very pricey, I thought, I would try a silk bonnet instead. Even though I have long hair, there is too much room in the bonnet, and it was difficult to keep it inside the bonnet. As the hair is silky and slippery, it kept on sliding out. While sleeping, the entire bonnet would slip off within minutes. I followed the instructions on how to secure it to the head, but no matter how tight I wrapped it, it would slip off. Then there was the added discomfort of constriction when pulling it tight. I ended up, returning this, and I thought, I would leave this review for those folks who may have my kind of hair and are contemplating to invest in a silk bonnet.

My hair is wavy so I don't know if this really did anything for my daugher and me. It's really soft and pleasent to touch. The color is nice

Have been using at night for awhile and now I don’t want to sleep without it! I have medium length curly hair and I appreciate my hair being off my neck. Great for anyone who gets hot at night or has long hair!

This product comes with a small square of silk to be used as a burn test to verify authenticity. I imagine that if I burnt this, it would be silk. Unfortunately, the bonnet and scrunchie are not made of the same material as the burn test as it is significantly more sheer and softer than the bonnet which appears to be made of Polyester and more of a satin product. I’m not sure of the point of adding something to verify how authentic it is. Makes any sense when it clearly isn’t the same material as what you’re about to use. Sketchy for sure.

Very soft

While it works, it’s uncomfortable. The seam where the silk bonnet meets the spandex-like band is finished in a way that feels rough against the skin. My girlfriend has been wearing it inside out to fix this, but I think we’ll return it and look for one with a softer, better-finished seam.

I just received this gorgeous bonnet and it’s luxurious as I felt it would be the double layer silk is definitely lovely. I have a few bonnets but this one definitely is lovely and roomy for my thick long hair. Definitely love it. I think this is now going to be my favourite bonnet out of all the ones I own.
