I was using an old generic Xbox controller on my pc for flight sim 2024, I found that it was hard to fly smoothly due to the poor response from the analogue sticks. I saw these being reviewed on YouTube and they looked really good value. It took a few days to be delivered but it was well worth it. Very good build quality and premium feeling materials, there is one slight rough join but it's not where your hands are placed on the controller, so can live with that. It connects instantly without any software via WiFi and works seamlessly. The flight experience is now transformed, the hall effect sticks are really smooth and accurate so I can fly without over correcting, I've also used it for Elite Dangerous and it's massively improved the flight experience. It looks great too! Really happy with this and would highly recommend. I expect it would be great for racing games as well due the accurate analogue triggers.

My second controller, with the first lasting over a year. These are my new favourite manufacturers. The feel is perfect for my build, great responsive input, and value that anyone has struggled to match. It's rare, but this is one of those value and quality, combos that works.

The controller is great quality for the price, and certainly a step up from a generic PS4/PS5 copy from China. It pairs on my PC using Bluetooth very quick, as well as the 2.4ghz dongle. Tested with my laptop and desktop, works flawlessly in both modes on each device. Excellent! The buttons are great quality, feels good, very responsive, perfect. The only downsides I have is that the controller is smaller than I imagined. I just played an hour of BO6 and my left hand knuckles are cramped. The analogue sticks thumb pads feel very small, coming from a PS4 gamepad, the 8bitdo feels small and finicky.. Hard to describe.. When clicking the left analogue stick in, the L3 button, i feel the stick flip and I move the stick left or right. If the thumbpads on the analogue sticks were larger I don't think this would happen, as well as the feel of the analogue sticks being much looser feeling than a PS4 gamepad. Having said that, that's my initial thoughts. I know it takes some time to get used to a new gamepad after using a different one for years, but the handcramps kinda suck right now. If you have larger hands, I'd avoid this one. 👍 Overall, I can't fault the quality here, excellent value for money, but maybe just not the right one for me 🤷

Using this controller with a docked steam deck. Easy to connect and so far had no issues. The controller is smaller in hand than the dual sense which I'm more accustomed to. The controls are responsive and having suffered stick drift on two PS5 controller I'm hopeful that the hall affect sticks remove the potential. The two tone blue colour is also really nice. Overall this product is exceptional considering the price, great value for money.

Comfy, cool and so reasonably priced. Pairs seamlessly and battery life lasts for ages. It's on the smaller side compared to say the pro versions 8bitdo have but still comfortable for my larger hands. Zero issues with it after months of use.

Really nice controller, especially for the price. It really punches above its weight. Lovely hall effect sticks and hall effect triggers, nice feeling face buttons, reasonable dpad and incredible low latency. I'm so pleased with this controller. I also bought the Adapter 2 which works great for using this as a switch controller. It means I can set it to 2.4ghz mode for my PC and then switch it (using a switch on the back) to Bluetooth mode so it works as a solid switch controller. There are no extra buttons for mapping which may be an issue for some people but not me as I don't really care for those kinds of buttons. I do wish there was a proper phone mount available for this controller though! Overall would definitely recommend, especially over Xbox and PS5 controllers which can be double or even triple the price.

Nice quality feel to it. Works well on Linux with Steam. A little small in the hand compared to a Steam Controller, I have relatively large hands. Batteries don't appear to be interchangeable so assume a limited life-time as a wireless controller.

I've only had it a day but so far it's fantastic. I got it for my PC and it's been as simple as plug and play. The controller feels pretty solid. I've tried PS5 controllers and the standard Xbox controller as well and I wouldn't say that you would be missing out on much. Everything is as described, a great value product. I will be eating my words if it breaks in the coming months though.

Solide und präzise, wie alle vergleichbaren Modelle von 8Bitdo. Würde sogar sagen, dass die Sticks noch ein bisschen linearer vom Nullpunkt ansprechen.

Premetto di essere un videogiocatore da 30 anni e di aver giocato con tantissime consolle dal Commodore 64, passando per le varie Nintendo e ovviamente Playstation e Xbox prediligendo, di gran lunga, il gioco su pc. Di controller, in questi 30 anni, ne ho provati veramente tanti e questo è veramente ben fatto, specie per il prezzo pagato. Ma vediamo nel dettaglio il prodotto. Partiamo dalla casa produttrice: 8Bitdo produce controller da tantissimi anni ed è leader nel settore. Oltre al modello da me acquistato, in precedenza ne ho provati altri alcuni molto interessanti anche per il retrogaming sia per pc che per consolle con licenza ufficiale. Packaging: come si vede dalle foto allegate, la confezione è fatta con assoluta cura. All'interno troviamo il controller, l'adattatore USB/2.4G per connettere il controller al pc in modalità wireless, il cavo USB-A/USB-C per ricaricare il controller. Piccola nota negativa è la lunghezza di quest'ultimo cavo: se avete la necessità di giocare col controller sotto carica avete bisogno di una porta usb sul fronte del case altrimenti non riuscite a giocare. Di pregio, invece, il confezionamento del controller che arriva con la pellicola di protezione per la serigrafia dei tasti, nonché con i cuscinetti a protezione delle levette analogiche. Ergonomia e qualità strutturali: il controller in mano è molto simile a quello Xbox Series S/X, caratterizzato da una presa ben salda e comoda. Personalmente mi trovo molto meglio con questa tipologia di controller, con le levette asimmetriche, rispetto ai controller Playstation ma probabilmente è una questione soggettiva. Il controller è dotato anche di due trigger programmabili molto comodi. Unica nota negativa sono i tasti select e start (i cui simboli nel controller sono "-" e "+") posizionati più in alto di un controller Xbox e ci vuole un po' di tempo per abituarsi a cliccarli senza dover guardare il controller. Funzionalità e connettività: trattandosi di un controller wireless il suo punto di forza è proprio la connessione. Utilizzando la chiavetta USB in dotazione, l'associazione con i pc windows è immediata. In alternativa può essere associato tramite bluetooth agendo sullo switch posto nella parte posteriore del controller. Non possedendo al momento consolle Nintendo non ho provato ad associarlo con il tasto di "paring" ma se dovessi farlo con amici aggiornerà la recensione. Non ho riscontrato alcun "input lag" e la risposta del controller è veloce ed immediata, soprattutto le levette analogiche. La funzione di vibrazione è precisa e gradevole. Punto di forza è la durata della batteria. Con una ricarica si riesce a giocare tranquillamente una decina di ore. Conclusioni: acquistato per circa 35 euro è un controller "best buy". Qualitativamente simile ad un controller Xbox Series S/X a metà prezzo e con una versatilità unica. Se non cercare controller dal look accattivante e pieni di led ma cercate un controller solido, comodo ed efficace questo è il migliore. E poi 8Bitdo è una garanzia in tema di controller.
