Epic guitar
This was a great deal. This guitar plays and sounds as good as my $800.00 guitar.

Beautiful Guitar
The guitar was packed very well. Perfect sunburst finish. The neck and frets were good, needing no andjusting. Excellent sounding guitar. However, I had to return it because the delivery time was way too long due to poor carrier service. I decided to purchase a different guitar before it finally arrived.

Solid beginner guitar
First of all, I love Mooer. I've been using their acoustic effect pedal for a couple years and never had a problem. So when I saw they had a nice beginner guitar, I couldn't help but want one. And I do absolutely love this guitar, but there was one major problem. Basically every fret sticks out just enough to where you definitely need to file it down. I even had the high E string get stuck on one. But I am sort of lazy, so I just filed down the one side of the frets for now. Not exactly what I was expecting from this company, but I do feel like they make up for it everywhere else. I can get some amazing sound out of this and it's really comfortable to play. It comes with pretty much everything you need right out of the box. The gig bag isn't super thin like a lot of the ones I have, and honestly, I just really liked how this guitar looks. So it pretty much just stays next to my desk on a stand for when I feel like playing. Definitely glad I got this, just keep the frets in mind!

Cheap hardware and fret sprout make a rough guitar.
Fret sprouting, very rough neck. Otherwise a nice looking guitar. Typical cheap ceramic pickups.

Mooer has decent products, but their support sucks!
DISCLAIMER: I have not purchased this guitar. This review is for Mooer in general. I purchased a pedal modeler from them, the GE200, back in August and it supposedly came with a 1 year warranty. Something went wrong with it a couple weeks ago and I sent message after message through their website, directly to their tech support, and on whatever social media I could find, to no avail. After two weeks they still hadn't responded, so I took the device apart and fixed it myself. Yes, I voided the warranty, but they weren't going to honor it anyway. So, you may or may not get a good piece of equipment when you get something from Mooer, but you will not receive support with it should something go wrong.

Great beginner guitar kit!
I've never heard of Mooer, but looking over their products, it seems like they've been in the industry for awhile. They do appear to be a Chinese company, but I've always wanted to give the electric guitar a try. I played guitar in high school, and have picked my acoustic guitar occasionally since then, but getting an electric guitar I thought would be great.Mooer packaged up this well, of course. It came in a brown cardboard box with plenty of padding. The guitar itself was in the case/backpack that is included. Outside of the case were also the guitar picks and the amp cable. Within the case, you opened the guitar was packaged in a white fabric bag. After opening that, you found the strings were protected with a brown paper wrapping. Really well packaged, and I am thankful, as you don't want something like this being damaged in shipping. The guitar kit includes 3 different size picks. I didn't have a traditional amp, but did have a karaoke machine my girls used that I was able to connect the guitar to initially to give it a try. The strings are wrapped nice and tight, which, according to a good guitar buddy, is a good thing that enables you to not have to move your fingers and push as much reducing calluses, etc. This electric guitar definitely worked just fine plugged into the karaoke machine (I need to get a good guitar AMP as I get back into playing). It sounded as great as I could play it (boy am I rusty), but I really had a good time with it.Overall, it is very solidly and well built as far as I can tell. I swear the initial price was around $300 when I was first looking at it, but it's currently priced under $200. Great deal, in my mind. I know this isn't a top of the line guitar or even from a brand like Fender, but for the price, I don't think you're going to be disappointed. It feels great, and I'm eager to continue to get back into learning and playing.

Excellent!
My teenage daughter has expressed an interest in learning to play the electric guitar this MOOER is more than suiting her needs. It looks VERY nice and far more expensive than it is and, considering you also get the guitar case, picks and cable with it, this is a lot of bang for your buck. The sound is good. More expensive guitars are going to have a better tone, better electronics and such, but unless you are a pro, I don't think anyone is going to listen to this guitar and be able to tell that it's not an expensive guitar. Highly, highly recommend.

It shouldn’t be this good
Ive been playing guitar for 25 years and I’ve played everything from beat up curbside rejects to custom shop level instruments, and this little S type is just so much fun. Pickups aren’t great but the neck is solid and the fretwork is great, and the body is a full thickness strat shape which is comfortable as all get out. It shouldn’t be this good.
