I'm a big fan of English flat caps and I've got a bunch of 'em. Felt, canvas, leather, you name it I've got it. For the price, this is a great hat. Even though it's all man made materials, it does look enough like leather to fool the casual observer. This is my new favorite knock around hat and I don't care what the weather is like. A little rain? Don't care. If the hat gets soaked it just dries out and looks as good as new. The hat fits really well too. I was a little concerned that the internal elastic band would be too tight, but is has broken in nicely and not it just fits snugly. I have an average size head, but a big head of hair so I need a large size hat. This hat is just right for me.

This is the second one of these caps I've bought. I have a 10 gallon head so I thought the x-large one would suffice but alas, I wasn't meant to be. I like the look of the hat so I ordered a size smaller and it fits perfect. Love the hat!

hard to tell by internet pics how somethin' is gonna look on your head, and impossible to tell how it's gonna fit, of course... I was pleasantly surprised on both accounts when this arrived... it's narrower than some flat caps, so it doesn't look floppy like a beret... the stretch fit is not too snug, it fits my 7 3/8 head perfectly, but I think it would fit fine for slightly larger or smaller... the bill is plastic inside, so it'll hold a nice curve, which I greatly prefer as opposed to many hats usin' a cardboard bill... the material has a bit of a sheen to it, doesn't QUITE look like real leather or suede, but it looks nice and coordinates well with a couple leather jackets I own... it feels like good quality so far, I've only worn it a couple times so we'll see how it holds up over time... for the price you can't beat it, I'd highly recommend it!!!

Fits good. Looks good. From a short distance you can't tell it's not real suede.

I was looking for leather hat anc this one came up. I didn't read into it too much before I bought it, but it looks nice and hubby likes it, so win/win!

It was affordable, available and arrived prior to Christmas which was not guaranteed. Hubby couldn't find his previous cap when the weather turned chilly...so a last minute gift idea was the task at hand. Hat arrived timely and when putting the Christmas gifts away....we found the original cap. Oh well....now we have a back up!

Great hat. The leather isn't real, but it's actually well constructed. I should have ordered one-size-smaller. It's still looks good on me.
