This was the exact height cylinder I was looking for. I bought an office chair for my tall vanity and also to bring to the kitchen table when I work from home on occasion, but the one I liked was too short. After some careful measurements to make sure it could adjust correctly to each table, I settled on this one. It was literally perfect for each since it has a bigger travel to adjust fo different heights. It is a true universal fit and slid easily into place
