I got this mini tripod on whim. I wanted to be able to position my phone on my desk for video watching or to use while working. I noticed the hooked foot and thought I might be able to hang it as well for videos.So far the thing is well constructed and doesn’t flop over or get compromised with the weight of my iphone max. It folds down to barely nothing! You can easily put it in your pocket and take it places and it is not bulky.It has other uses as well including using it in a tripod if you shoot video. I think it has the ability to attach to a normal 1/4” thread.The only con I have is the price. To me this should be $15 but it is pushing $30.

Looks and feels extremely high quality, like jewelry or an apple product. The hinges feel perfect like the kitchen drawers at your rich uncles house. The rubber tips are way more durable and grippy than you may assume. Biggest drawback is the red tabs that pull out to be used on a wall have sharp machined corners that may scratch the surface you’re mounting it on.

This is a nice tripod but it’s how thin it folds that makes it stand out. It is also why Im using it so much.The magnet is very strong. Even when I’m walking around with this, my phone stays secured to it.I can hold it to help stabilize my phone. It then turns to a small tripod. Perfect for when I’m watching videos on my phone. Also helpful to take timed shots, selfies, etc.This folds up so flat that I can easily throw this in my bag. I can even put it in my back pocket. It is also very lightweight.Clever design and lots of functionality.

At the pivot point in the pics, there is no way to adjust the tension. For $30, this is a huge rip. I will be sending this back in less than 30 days and I’m only using the regular sized iPhone, not the Plus. I already know it.

I recently took this stand with me while I was on the road for a few weeks for work. It packs small, is thin and light, yet strong and durable due to its aluminum construction. It's stable as a tripod and I like how adjustable the angles of view are. The little hook came in handy once. Now that I'm home I use it in the morning as I enjoy my coffee. It elevates the phone a little, so I don't have to bend my neck down as much. I've found this to be much nicer looking and more versatile than similar ones I've used that clamp into something. This week one of the tiny round rubber feet fell off. Luckily it happened while I was paying attention and was able to glue it back into the little hole.

This is a clever little unit. It does so much! From its compact size, the legs swing out to positively stop at the extended set angle. The magsafe mount arm swings up to provide basically any vertical angle desired for your phone even to slightly past vertical before it wants to tip. This means for your selfie cam it can even point slightly down at you. For your rear cams, the view could point slightly up. It seems primarily designed to use the selfie cam however. The magnet is plenty strong. I have confidence in it.The tripod legs each have a rubber insert at the end to provide surface grip. The legs and camera arm are snugged so that they are very stiff to move; they will hold in place where you set them.There are magnets in the base and in the swinging legs to help keep the legs docked when the package is folded up. Speaking of that, when folded up the base serves as a handle so you can use your phone camera on the go.The fold out tail hook is another clever addition. This allows this tripod/mount to hook over the top edge of something, for even more placement options. The base also has a 1/4 screw hole and Arri pins to the side. There is a cold shoe mount on the back side of the camera arm.This unit is so versatile and packed with features I was going to joke that all it was missing was the bottle opener...but I think that actually where the cold shoe mount is placed... well it could do that too!!!Then tuck it all back into a flat package and slip it into your back pocket and forget it's there.~Cheers!
