These are BOMB! Literally the carry the same taste as retuglar noodles but their brown rice noodles. My kids can’t tell the difference. For someone who’s definitely health consciously watching certain ingredients that I feed my family, I’m very pleased with the quality. And the cook time is quick as the package says. This one pack fed my family of 6. Which I’m my eyes was a win. So the value for what I paid was worth it.

These brown udon noodles have a great chewy texture and cook in just a few minutes. I love that they're organic and made from simple, clean ingredients. They soak up sauces beautifully and work well in stir-fries, soups, or cold noodle bowls. A healthier pantry staple I reach for often. Only thing, they become slightly thicker once cooked.

I grew up in Japan, so Asian noodle dishes, like UDON, are my comfort food. Having to give up gluten was a huge transition. Many years later I have learned to appreciate and be very thankful for so many GF substitutes. I have learned to NOT expect a perfect twin in every way. That said, I enjoy this rice udon very much. It allows me to have my favorite udon dishes. I'm not fooled that I'm eating wheat. The texture, "bite", is not the same. But I love that I'm slurping up these big fat noodles with all the classic delicious other ingredients. Substitution is so much better than denial.

This is by far my favorite gluten/wheat-free noodle. It's not quite as thick as udon, but it cooks up fairly well and is the closest I've found to wheat noodles.
