This is a really nice humidifier. I've used a lot of humidifiers in the past and they usually do the job. This one meets the need and has a few surprise extras. The large canister was essential for my very large bedroom. I'm in San Diego where it's dry, and it took 2 full fills to bring my room to 65% humidity. Now that I'm there, the canister only needs filling once every few days. I love how much comes out at once. I've never seen that much on any humidifier I've had. And the nice surprise is being able to angle it in a direction so that it can come down directly onto my head while I sleep. This thing is silent. No noise at all. It just does it's thing without a hum. The controls are very easy. I set the desired humidity to 65% and it just goes. I love that I can see what the current humidity is from far away. The display is really clear. The light is nice and not terribly bright and I like that it can be turned off at bedtime without turning off the function of it. One of the really nice surprise is how easy it is to fill the canister. If you pick it up it comes easily out of the base. And unlike any other humidifier I've had, the canister sits flat on a counter so you can refill it without holding it. It also feels really sturdy. I think I'll probably by another few for my guest rooms as visitors tend not to be used to the dryness here. I highly recommend this product.

When you set it to auto on a dry day, the tank will run itself dry in just 12 hours if used in a large room. It sounds bad at first but it means this humidifier can increase its mist output in response to dryness, so I am 100% satisified with that. It's nice and quiet and odorless. The size of the water tank is great and it does last 60 hours if humidity is 30-60%. The lights are great indicators of the humidity level: yellow if dry, green if just right, and blue if it's 60%+ humid. My one caveat is set the humidity setting to 60% if you want to put it on auto to account for the built-in hygrometer being closer to the mist than the rest of the room because this thing lowers its mist output as its hygrometer reaches the selected humidity level. I've had it for a year and no issues.

We love this! Adjustable output and super quiet. We even live the colorful glow it gives off. Super easy to fill we just fill up our pitcher with our RO water and lift off the top. It has improved the humidity level in our house. We'd highly recommend this product.

Efficient and easy to set up and get going. Auto features works well maintaining the desired humidity and turning the unit off automatically. Unit looks chic and blends in well with room. Minimal noise, only noticeable if you listen for it. No smell fresh out of box and have kept clean with vinegar solution. No leakages, sturdy solid build. Night light is a hint of light, can add soothing ambience or also shot off darkness. Well fully recommend or purchase for a friend.

The humidifier meets my needs, so I am happy with it. I purchased this one because I had a positive experience with the smaller Dreo 4L (model HM311S) that I bought a few weeks earlier. I should note here that my only prior experience with humidifier's was with basic on/off models of yesteryear. And that was what I was looking for when I purchased the first Dreo. The Dreo just happened to be on sale at a price equivalent to older type device, so it made sense to me to try it. I am glad I did. There are a few things about these humidifiers that you would not necessarily think you need until you have them. First, they are quiet. Very quiet. Second, you can control how much humidity they produce. Third, they have a night light - which is kind of helpful as you get used to where you placed them. The light does change colors normally, but I think you can control that. It's a gradual change and the colors all seem to have similar luminance. Fourth, the footprint is smaller which gives you a lot of options for placement Fifth, you can direct the flow forward or back by tilting the plastic output piece. Sixth, they stop running when the water is empty. And when you refill the water, it keeps the settings you had. Both models display the percentage humidity in the room. I think the 4L HM311S model works better than the 6L model HM524 because its reading tends to more gradually change. This might be a function of the room and placement. I am not sure that the sensor can measure the humidity much further than the device - I got the impression that the sensor might be picking up the humidity the device is producing at times (probably because of changing currents due to the A/C running). The pad on the 4L HM311S model seems more intuitive than the one on the 6L model HM524. Though I had no trouble getting either set up for my needs. Both come with some pieces for maintenance that do not attach to the devices. There is some risk that one might lose them or forget about them. One thing to note about these newer humidifiers is that manufacturer suggests using distilled water. Distilled water is relatively cheap as far as purchased water goes, but it is getting harder to find. And if you need to run these a lot, it can be kind of expensive. I ended up using filtered water from my fridge and just clean them more often. It is very possible my choice may lead to an earlier demise, but I reasoned out that it would like cost me way more in distilled water then the device itself. The 6L model HM524 seems to go through water faster when it gets toward the end of its tank. Again, could be the room. These are kind of tall and narrow. I did have a concern that my cats could potentially knock them over. It has not happened. The water adds a fair amount of weight to these so that probably helps. I doubt it would help if they engaged in rambunctious play and slammed into it. Larger animals and small children could certainly be a risk. The room size ratings Dreo provides are likely accurate, but there are a lot of factors that can influence that. It does make sense to have a larger capacity device for a larger area. Overall, I am very pleased with these devices.

The Dreo Humidifier is easy to use, large volume and practical. The humidifier arrived well-packaged and protected. Setting it up was just as simple. Within minutes I had it filled with water and ready to go. The 6L top-fill tank is a great size. It allows for long runtime, up to 60 hours during my testing, which means less frequent refills. The refill opening is wide enough to easily clean the tank, reducing the risk of mould or mildew buildup. This humidifier runs quietly, making it perfect for bedrooms. Even on the highest mist setting, the white noise level was minimal and didn't disrupt my sleep. There is an occasional burp of water inside but it doesn't bother me much. The 360° adjustable nozzle allows for precise direction of the cool mist, ensuring even humidification throughout the room. The built-in humidity sensor works well. It automatically adjusts the mist output to maintain your desired humidity level, which can be easily set between 30% and 70% using the touch controls. Overall, the Dreo Humidifier is a well-designed and well-functioning product. It's easy to use, quiet, and effective. If you're looking for a humidifier to improve the air quality in your home, I highly recommend this unit. Full marks from me!

This humidifier does a great job, does it quietly, and looks good doing it. Just fill, and set your desired humidity level; it will turn on and off as needed. In addition to the auto-mode (humidity sensor), it comes with a lot of other great and useful features, such as a timer, mist level, directional nozzle, and a color-changing light that visually indicates if the humidity is too low, or too high or just right. You have the option to turn the light off if you find it visually distracting or too bright when trying to sleep, which also turns the display off, however, a tap on the power button will turn the light and display on for several seconds if you want to check the humidity level. If you're in the market for a room humidifier, this one is a good choice.

I needed a new humidifier for my daughter's bedroom and I cannot praise this product enough. It comes with a lot of very useful features: - You can set it on a timer and will stop when the timer ends whether there is still water or not - Auto shut off when the tank is empty - Humidity level setting. The humidifier will go on until it reaches the level of humidity you set - Nightlight - 3 levels of humidification (low, medium, high) - Quiet (we do not hear it compared to our old one) - Small tray at the back for essential oils (useful during cold season) The humidity level setting is my favorite feature. We used to get up at night to go shut off our daughter's humidifier since it would get too humid in her room but now her room is always at a comfortable level. Another thing I absolutely love about this humidifier is how easy it is to clean and dry! You can literally take it all apart and make sure no water or humidity stays in and it makes it so much easier to prevent mold from forming. If you are looking for a good humidifier I highly suggest going with this one. It is worth every penny.

This is a really nice looking humidifier that doesn’t detract from a rooms aesthetics. It’s quiet and efficient and is also suitable for the bedroom if you don’t mind an almost indistinguishable hum. Although mostly made of plastic it seems well constructed and should last a long time. The cord is 5 feet long which is a pretty perfect length for most use cases. It’s especially nice that it includes a humidity sensor for effective control of your rooms humidity. The fact that the colour of the light reflects the humidity level is also a nice touch. However if you’re not into coloured lights in your house and switch it off, the display also turns off meaning you have no ability to see how it’s performing without turning them back on. These should be independent switches in my opinion. Also the buttons themselves are not illuminated making it difficult to know which one you are pressing especially if you’re not in a bright room. Having a top fill tank has its benefits, but it also means you have to have a spare jug lying around. And because this is 6L you’re going to have to make multiple trips, unless you refill it more frequently than it needs (which kinda defeats the purpose of getting a large capacity humidifier) In the instructions they do recommend using distilled water and descaling once a month which is all a bit of a pain and would’ve been nice to know before purchase.

I like the simplicity of this unit. There are adjustments between 30 to 90% for humidity levels, 1 to 12 hour timer, and you can select between manual and auto mode. You can select three levels of mist output. All the controls are easy push button and work well. There isn’t a lot of parts to need to clean. The water reservoir is a good size - 6 litres. The angle of the top nozzle where the mist comes out can be adjusted towards the front or back of the unit. It also has an essential oil pad holder at the back to add your favourite essential oils to located in the back bottom of the unit. Push the drawer and it pops open. Three essential oil pads are included along with a cleaning brush. There is a quick start guide and user manual with good instructions included. The colour of the led is suppose to change depending on the level of humidity it reads in your house, or you can also shut the lights off on the unit. I can’t test the changing colours yet as the humidity is higher in the summer. It is currently blue and will no doubt turn green or possibly yellow once winter arrives. This will be a good addition in keeping the humidity a little higher in the colder months. The box came with a damaged / crushed corner however the appliance is well packaged and was not damaged in any way.
