Lincoln Electric Heavy Duty MIG/Stick Welding Gloves | Heat Resistant & Durabilty | Large | K4082-L

I purchased the Lincoln Electric heavy duty MIG gloves for my son. He is a welder. He said the gloves fit great and are not too stiff. The gloves are made really well and protect his hands while still giving him the freedom to move. He highly recommends this gloves.

So far these are my favorite gloves. Very comfortable after the break-in period.

Needed heavier glove for stick, compared to MIG where flexible gloves are useful but not up to the increased heat of stick, particularly for the hand not holding the handle. These have good heat protection but still find that an aluminized heat shield is helpful for the hand closest to the arc. Heat will get through the fingers if you pick up something at a temp of 400F or so and hold it for a bit but a lot better than the Mig gloves.. In use I hold the holder with Mig glove and the other hand gets this glove with a heat shield.

I bought these as grilling gloves. Very good materials and construction. Heat resistance is not as good as I hoped, but I understand they were not made for my intended purpose. Carrying hot cast iron and stoneware from the grill to the house wasn’t part of the design concept. That said, they do the job better than pot holders and are excellent gloves for moving grill grates and shifting anything hot on the grill. The extended cuff is perfect for protecting your arm from the heat during saucing, basting, and turning over direct heat. They seem to run a bit small due to the extra layers, but I expect they’ll free up a bit with continued use. They are stiff at first, so You’ll need to work them a bit.

Gloves are tick and long lasting can take a beating and protect from heat really good

First time getting a good pair of gloves off amazon. These gloves are well built with quality materials. They also fit my xtra large hands . That never happens. They are pretty tight when you first put them on, but thats a good thing. Once they are broke in the fit is great. They feel like they will last a little while too. They cost about the same as the lower grade ones from lowes but way better in all respects. I will buy these again, with out a doubt.

I'm teaching myself to weld and grabbed these to save me from heat and exposure. These gloves fit my xl hands well and was able to manipulate the material with comfort and ease. Didn't have to keep adjusting and they broke in relatively quickly. Great value for starting out or the DIYer

This item has a description that says (pack of 2). Ordered then thinking that it had to pairs of gloves which made it a great deal. Only one pair of gloves showed up. Why would anyone buy just one glove!! CHANGE THE DESCRIPTION!! Very misleading.

Where I work requires heavy duty work welding gloves. I tried 6 pairs before giving these a go. Every other pair lasted between 6 to 9 weeks before needing to be replaced. Weeks of outing these through the hellfire of hit steel and chains, dust, oil, dirt, absolutely heavy industry stuff and they barely had a flayed thread. Will buy these again!
