Devils Food Gluten Free Cake Mix 425(Pack of 6)

The mix made 18 medium cupcakes, although only 12 were left for the attached photo! We used Betty Crocker frosting, half chocolate fudge and half salted caramel. We use rice bran oil as the oil ingredient, which we find gives a much better texture and flavour in cake recipes compared to other oils. I've made sandwich cakes using this mix, and they have also been delicious! You would be extremely hard-pressed to detect it was gluten-free. The main practical difference between this gluten-free version and the normal is that although both cakes are fantastically moist and tasty, the gluten-free one is very crumbly and falls apart easily. You wouldn't be able to carve the gluten-free cake into shapes, and you need to be extra careful removing the gluten-free cake from the tin after baking.

Purchased these as I really fancied brownies and the gluten free versions can be somewhat lacking in stores so figured we'd try a box mix, and I'm so glad we did, they are AMAZING! Everyone (including gluten eaters) that try these all agree that they are some of the best brownies they've ever tried, my family have even done a "bake off" between these and the standard Betty Crocker brownies and the gluten free ones won by a mile! Absolutely delicious and so simple to make too.

These may be a six pack, but I can ensure you you won't be getting a 6pack eating these bad boys.. At first you may think, do I need 6 packs.. Yes, yes you do! Why?? These are easy and quick to make. They taste absolutely delicious. Great with ice cream. You will not regret it!! No time for pictures as we were all too busy eating it..

Love this ,it's a fabulous gf cake mix, it's moist, choclatey etc. sadly its gotten too expensive, inc shops. So can't justify prices , so unless there is a great deal on I won't be buying again. Not because I don't want to, just too pricey for me personally .

Very delicious wouldn't know it gluten free

Very easy to make. Delicious when served warm after being freshly baked with single cream. Any pieces set aside for a few days I heat a single piece in microwave for 30 secs on full and serve with single cream - just as delicious as when freshly baked ! A real treat for us coeliacs ( and vegetarians ) , unless on a diet ! Not suitable for vegans due to ingredients in the bake mixture and the butter and eggs that then have to be added.

These have supply issues in shops so found them here. Can't tell it's gluten free at all. Best kit I've found. Wish they did other variations.
