Easy, Fun, and Delicious – Highly Recommend This Shawarma Grill
I’m very happy with this VEVOR Shawarma Grill Machine. It is made of sturdy stainless steel and feels well built and easy to clean. The two rotating skewers cook the meat evenly, giving it a juicy and delicious shawarma-style finish. It heats up quickly and is very simple to use, making it perfect for home cooking, family dinners, or small parties. You can prepare chicken, beef, or lamb without much effort, and the results are impressive for the price. Overall, this machine is a great value and a fun way to enjoy restaurant-style shawarma at home. Highly recommended!

Did not disappoint! Great job with Al Pastor!
I bought this vertical rotisserie so I could make authentic Al Pastor tacos for a big party we planned. It's not dirt cheap, by any means, but the price is reasonable if you entertain and enjoy cooking. For my purposes, it was worth taking a chance on it. I did a test run with a relatively small amount of Greek chicken, cooked shawarma style, and that turned out great. When it came time to make the Al Pastor for the party and stack up the meat to build up the trompo, it all went very well. I piled on the marinated meat along with pineapples and onions and wrapped it up to sit and firm up in the fridge. I put it on to start cooking about an hour and a half before I expected guests to arrive and it was perfect timing. I adjusted the heat up and down as needed and we cooked and sliced off meat for about 2 more hours. The propane burners provide plenty of heat and are very adjustable. The resulting tacos were great! Perfect street-food style just as you'd expect in Mexico City. :) I'd say that the 13 lb capacity might be a little ambitious. I probably got 10 lbs of sliced pork on the spit but I also had some pineapple, etc. It's probably capable of 13 lbs but it would take some careful stacking and trimming. I'd seen from other reviews that the grease pan is too shallow and will definitely leak if it gets very full at all. I fixed that by installing a short length of 1/2" silicone tubing in the hole in the grease pan. It's a tight fit in the pan and a tight fit over the shaft that turns the spit. Not a drop of grease went anywhere but the pan. We'll have to see how well it holds up to repeated use but all in all, I'm very pleased with it and I expect to make good use of this machine. I've promised my German friends that next time we'll do Doner Kebab. :)

It’s cheap, that’s about the only upside.
Is it the cheapest shawarma maker you can get? Yes. Does it work? Kind of. It arrived with a broken on/off switch, which I replaced. The flame constantly goes out even with the smallest gust of wind. Its own ignition will not start the machine so I use a blowtorch. It spins too fast to actually cut anything while it on, thus you have to kill the flame slice meat and toggle the rotation switch to slice meat without burning the other side. The drip tray is terrible. Also If the flame goes out gas keeps flowing. It was tolerable at most for a one time event, but I would not buy this machine again. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone for any reason. Edit: This stupid thing is a death trap, not one of the cut stainless edges are deburred. It has razor sharp edges everywhere. I can’t believe this is being sold.

Has potential to be much better. Just listen to a real Gaucho!
I will update this review but for now, the 4 stars are based in: Brand - I have several instruments and devices from Vevor and I like the brand from long time. Usually sturdy construction and good price combined. Package/Painting finishing details- Great... don't look chip, great value for the price again. On this grill however, it would deserve a better skewer. Still Inox perhaps. Skewers on this style of grill has to be stronger and easy to clean. I think could have as well a temperature controller for just 3 different levels: warm (keep warm) medium and hot (searing temp) because this is the 3 levels of temperature that matters for Brazilian rotisserie grill style. Finally an extra layer of insulation on the top (inside) of the grill. Heat rise as you know and the outside top gets really hot. So, the solution for this could be 2: Add an internal sheet metal to reflect the heat or, that is my genius idea: Add a tray on the top in a way you could sear vegetables or so, while your meat is grilling. I already fixed mine by installing this extra sheet inside. If it's works well, I will be back to give the 5th star on this review. And Vevor, please make some accessories like extra skewers. I will adapt one of mine but, should be nice if you make extra accessories. UPDATE; Keep everything I've said above: Some facts from a former Gaucho Chef from many "churrascarias": Grilling lean beef like "Picanha", top sirloin will not get the full flavor as you would get from gas or charcoal. I will try grill some flank steak and beef reebs and season/marinate it to see what will happens. Also I will try a Picanha and brush bacon fat with some pepper at the end of the grillin. It may will improve a little. I put some wood chips at the tray, close to the botton burner, to get some smoke... not sure if it worked or not. Got to do it again. With chicken wrapped in bacon was excellent. Today I will try a beef kabbab with onion, bacon and pepper. At the same time shrimp on the shell. Both will be bushed during the process. Let y'all know how it will develops.
