Easy to use, reliable, great first 3D printer
Great 3D printer for someone starting out or just a hobbyist. Easy to use and quiet. My wife set it up herself and used it first. I bought this for my wife for Christmas and we've printed gifts for people, containers for fruits and vegetables, and light switches. I've also printed shelves and holders for the network gear and hubs on the office desk. It's compatible with many filament types - you can even print your own shoes similar Crocs. Recommend any first timer for any 3D printer watch a few videos about protecting filament from moisture in the air and you'll have great success with print jobs. I've found the Bambu filaments the most reliable and easiest to use - especially since their spools are tagged so the printer automatically knows what kind and color filament is on the roll. The AMS lets you keep four different spools loaded which is great for multi-color prints

Great 3D printer!
This 3D printer is amazing! The directions were a little challenging to follow, as I didn’t understand the lingo, but we were able to get it put together pretty quickly. The APP that you use along with it is super easy to navigate and the prints are great. There are so many choices of things to create! It was very easy to connect to WIFI and get going. It is not noisy and doesn’t require a large area for set up. We set ours on a nightstand and it’s the perfect size. Definitely worth the money as it is easy to use and works amazing!

Consumer-3D Printing, in MY home?
Part of me really regrets not investing in 3D printing years ago, but a bigger part of me is glad to have waited until the technology matured a little. At any rate, I'm very very happy to have bought this. It's just cool, it's a geek-out factor I don't get to experience very often. The number of free files I can print is insane, I wish I had a dozen of these things all churning out useful (or just fun) things 24/7. It's extremely easy to set up; it syncs with your phone, and the app has a huge catalog of user-created stuff you can use for free. It's very much consumer-grade, no tech knowledge required. I love it, I'll probably buy more. The only problem (if you can even call it that) is occasional feed issues; you get a push notification on your phone, you have to go up and re-feed the PLA spool. It takes 10 seconds and I've only seen it twice. I doubt that's a problem with the product, probably something any printer faces, and it's an instant fix. Buy one, nerd.

Only One in Three Worked.....
I am an educator and bought three of the A1 units for my students to use. One worked, the other two never did. The units that did not work both had the same issue, Z axis homing failed during initial calibration. Also, neither of these non-functioning units would let you upgrade their software. Given that they both had the same flaws, clearly a manufacturing/quality control issue. Didn't get very far with customer support or their FAQ wiki. After a few frustrating days fussing with them, I ultimately threw them into the scrap metal bin at the town dump and have been much happier ever since. YMMV but I found these to be a buggy, unpleasant pain. The one that did work is nice but it's not an inexpensive printer if you have to buy three to get one to work.

The best 3D printer in its class!
This has to be the best 3D printer in this price range. After a quick setup this thing is ready to print and it does a pretty good job. If you’re new to 3D printing or a veteran of the hobby this machine just works. I definitely recommend getting one.

Great for beginners!
Works very well. I knew nothing about 3d printing. This made it easy for me to learn on.

Best printer out there
I have owned countless other machines, even ones others had tampered with to be "better". Nothing beats the A series. It auto levels before every print, is super fast and still has amazing quality. It has some noise but you can edit it to be more silent with the expense of a slower print. Best printer I have ever owned, 100/10.
