This is something I have always had but, they last forever and you can use it for Oder out products as well. I have a lot of pets and bedding to wash weekly. Love it❤️

These should really come with dryers that don’t have the spout for fabric softener. This little ball does the trick.

I really liked this gadget and it did a great job making my clothes softer. It was a little difficult to fill and clean out, but the softer laundry made it worth the effort. Hopefully the design will improve.

It broke before I even used it

It's a simple device that works flawlessly due to physics and careful material choice and design. There's no better way to use liquid fabric softener in a top-loading washing machine that doesn't have a built-in fabric-softener dispenser. It's probably a better answer than a lot of the built-in dispensers, too. If you like to use fabric softener, or you have clothes that require it (like Thorlo socks), and you have a top-loading washing machine, you should grab a Downy Ball. It seems like they're discontinued, for some insane reason, so grab one while you can! They do eventually wear out...

Got this today. Opened the box, the float and the pull ring and the small pole that holds the pull ring was all pulled apart and laying inside of the ball. That was not easy to get all of that out. Once I did, each time I pulled the ring out, the ring would pop off of it, the rest fall into the ball, and well, nothing works right. I got it together, washed a load, and it never did open. Big disappointment that whoever put this together sure screwed it up. I had to use small pliers to get everything out of the ball and put it all back together, and you can not pull on the ring without it falling completely apart again. NO comment from the seller, go figure! Not worth sending it back, but I should! Annoying buying something that is already broken when you recieve it!

Doesn't empty out all the way. Will go back to just dumping it in the washing machine

So I have a new washing machine & it seems the more upgraded & newer they are the less you can do with them like interrupt cycles particularly rinse which is ridiculous because it's when you pull out drip dry or add softener. I was sceptical initially but took a chance based on reviews & IT WORKS Just tested in a cycle of sheets stopping st each cycle to check it didn't dispense early or not at all. Well it worked!! It dispensed during rinse cycle. This is a life saver & a must have in any laundry. Get one you won't be disappointed. Superfast delivery & arrived in perfect condition with tag & instructions.
