MU Pilates Reformer, Foldable Reformer Pilates Machine with Dual Resistance for Home Use and Gym Workout, Suitable for Advanced and Beginners Users

The reformer was so easy to put together and get started. The pads are very comfortable. I didn’t realize how big it was going to be. Folding and unfolding is so easy and it doesn’t take up a lot of room. Lots of room for just about any size and super sturdy. It functions well and the tension/resistance options are perfect. Oh and best part was the price! So affordable.

Is this comparable to a pro studio reformer? No. But will it get the job done? Yes! Like most of us, I can’t afford a several thousand dollar professional reformer, nor do I have enough room for one, so I was looking for an affordable, foldable option to supplement my studio lessons at home. I looked at other similarly priced foldable reformers but settled on this one because it offered the smallest folded dimensions (space is VERY limited in my house). Pros: it does indeed fold up pretty compactly. It’s sturdy and feels secure and stable for standing moves. For the price, it’s a decent machine. No complaints overall. Things to keep in mind before you buy: I didn’t want to call this list “cons” because they’re not really bad things, just things you need to consider when looking to buy this reformer. First and foremost, it IS small. The sled is short, even for someone like me who is barely 5 feet tall. Ideally, it could use 6” more inches and be fine for most average sized humans, but as it is, it’s a tight fit even for someone my height. My husband is 5’9 and can do some moves, but not all, and he really has to scrunch himself to fit on the platform. Both of us can max out the full extension length on certain moves. Secondly, it is noisy. The pulleys for the straps probably could use some oiling to minimize the squeaking. There’s also more noise in general than a pro reformer, but it glides well. The sled doesn’t have a noticeable “catch” when it slides over the hinges on the foldable frame. The shoulder posts come out easily, which is great for storage but they can pop off when pulling the straps off during use. And I really miss having an adjustable headrest for certain moves. The posts for the straps also feel like they could be a few inches longer. It’s sometimes tricky to get the right level of tension/extension without getting under the machine to tinker with the length of the straps. Folding and unfolding the reformer feels like a 2 person job. It’s possible to do it by myself, but it’s pretty unwieldy. It does fold up nicely and can be wheeled around in its folded state. It could definitely fit into most standard hallway closets. Overall, I’m still very happy with this machine and it’s seen more or less constant use in the month that I’ve owned it. Currently, it’s set up in my living room, which is great for my ADHD brain when watching TV and I start getting fidgety. Just hop on the reformer and do some moves! I love having it at my disposal and it’s keeping my back and hip pain in check. I’ll use it until I can save up enough for a higher end foldable reformer, but in the meantime it’s a great little machine for what I need!

For an at home reformer this seems very durable so far. I can’t speak on the test of time yet. The slide is smooth but not as comparable to the high end ones. I think for an at home machine this is a great option for the price. Assembly was fairly easy took a little less than an hour, although the pictures and the instructions book could use some work. I appreciate the multiple functions with the add on foot board, removable shoulder pads, and adjustable bar. I think for the price, and quality I’m seeing so far this should last me a while. And to be able to do my favorite thing in the comfort of my own home, is great.

The instructions could be made a lot easier! They call the foot rest both a head rest and foot rest also the limiter is also called a stop block.its really not hard to assemble but once u realize they call thing more than one name it's easier. As far as the work out goes I love it!!! Many exercises to do on it. Some exercises are in the instruction book. It's very sturdy! Easy to fold up! Once put together I love this Pilates machine!!

Let’s make it easy for you… don’t do it. Just save for the more expensive one. It’s pretty to look at but quality functionally, it’s better as a clothes rack. Plus returning it was a nightmare. After working with seller to send new parts and fix it, you’ll eventually return it. You’re welcome.

I love my reformer! I took 30 days in studio Pilates and fell in love, but it was very inconvenient to be in traffic to and from classes. I decided I would purchase my own reformed and workout at home. This reformer is perfect, it was easy to put together and for the price it’s way more sturdy than I expected. It’s well built, it’s heavy but not too heavy to move when folded. It’s long enough for my husband who’s 6’2 to use. The padding is nice and thick & very comfy, it glides smoothly, and is easy to adjust. I did a lot of research and looked at dozens of reformers this one was my pick and I’m so happy with my choice. If you are looking at it just buy it you will be happy you did🥰

This was very easy to setup it took me under 30 minutes. I’ve never purchased equipment like this on Amazon and waited to use it a while before reviewing. It is surprisingly very sturdy and not super noisy. Overall I would say it’s exactly what I was looking for.
