Q: Will these work in an electric candle that photo detects dusk-to-dawn?

These didn’t work for me in dusk to dawn window candles. They blink on and off (not a flicker...a definite blink). They are nice, however, in other fixtures. The color of the light is nice and I expect them to last a good long time.

Q: Are these bulbs okay to use outside?

These are LED versions of the class C7 light bulbs and as such are suitable for outdoor use.

Hi Dosmastr , thanks for your question. this clear glass is soft warm white 50lm. it is low power use in the string lights or led night light.

Q: Do these get hot??? i want to use them in a night light

The base gets hot just like an incandescent bulb but the glass part stays fairly cool, getting only a little warm. They're appropriate for night lights. If you have a nightlight shade that clips to the bulb you'll be fine.
