Buy and don’t forget to soak!
Durable and good for the price. I’d definitely buy again. For those new to matcha, make sure to soak the whisk in hot (not boiling) water (a few cm lower than the string part) for a few minutes before using it to stir matcha or you risk breakage. These whisks are made to be used a certain way so often breakage is simply user error. Don’t forget to store it on a whisk holder so it keeps its shape!

Good Whisk
Excellent whisk. I get a lot of microfoam using it, and I don’t even have to whisk for very long. I think it’s because the amount of prongs on the whisk makes it better to use. The quality is alright, a few prongs on my whisk broke on my first use but all the remaining prongs have been holding on tight and the whisk has generally held its shape.

Works well for Great Matcha Green Tea
The media could not be loaded. I bought this tea whisk because I thought it was necessary for making Matcha green tea at home. It’s likely made in China rather than Japan, but I was still able to whisk up delicious matcha with it. I’ve used it several times now, and it works quite well. Since it’s made of bamboo, and considering the current bamboo shortage, the quality isn’t outstanding, but it’s definitely good enough to make tasty Matcha🍵 Overall, I think it’s a solid product.

one small step up from using a fork
least favorite matcha whisk i've used :(the tines / prongs were already chipping off before opening the package. they splinter off easily and could leave splinters in the tea. i've only used it 2-3 times and it looks awful. the tines are warped and sticking out and uneven, partially because so many have just broken and bent from very minimal careful use.other ones i've used for months are still holding their shape and not falling a part so i don't feel that this is due to user error.result was a crema that was thin and full of 'lakes' (gaps in crema foam layer on top caused by very thin inconsistent crema. poor crema results in more bitter flavor of the matcha and a less smooth feel)affordable option but i feel this was much worse than other whisks i've used at the price pointTLDR: too fragile, splintering tines, blooms improperly and unevenly, warped busted shape after minimal use, not worth the price. also the the crema result on the matcha was poor. it also takes longer to incorporate the matcha for this reason, so a big negative of the functionality of it.cleaning is easy and the size is standard. never seen one dry wonky before this though.this is one step up from using a fork lol
