Used filtered water in the mug. After 7 hours of the water being in the mug, I used a coffee filter to drain the mug. I found copper flakes on the filter.

I've been wanting a copper water bottle for a while and when I saw this one, I ordered it immediately. It's shiny for now, but I'm going to embrace the patina when it inevitably comes. 30 ounces is a perfect capacity for water. The lid screws on smoothly and and doesn't leak. It's pure copper, so no insulation, but this works for me, as I often enjoy room temperature water anyway and... cold water will probably just make it sweat. Pricing is in line with similar bottles, so no issues there. I highly recommend this bottle!!

The bottle has a sticker on the bottom that can not be removed without harsh chemicals or without scraping it off; which will damage the copper. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star product.
