I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter's family and we couldn't wait to try it out. The design is small enough to keep out on the counter, but large enough to make a large slushie. It takes a bit of time (about 15 minutes) to make a slushie but it's fun to operate and the kids loved watching the root beer turn from liquid to slushie. It seems really sturdy; it's a bit noisy when churning the drink into a slushie but not so noisy that it's a problem. The kids can make slushies on their own and it saves my daughter a lot of money when they can make them at home instead of running out to the store to buy slushies. This gadget is a real hit.

Unfortunately this slushie maker did not work for me at all, it just didn't make a slushie. It said that it works best with square ice cubes, however, that wasn't an option that I had available. I used ice cubes from my refrigerator and it didn't work. On top of that, the machine when turned on is incredibly loud. Also, the lid was extremely difficult to remove which made it difficult to clean. Since it didn't work, I returned to Amazon who accepted the return. I have other Vevor products and have never had an issue with any other aside from this one.

Don’t work slushes the ice just melt like a water the and the flavor drink just stay cool for few mins im very upset would like To Return it but its already cold, i just got back from Colorado want try out our slushes machine not don’t do nothing wasting a money Don’t buy this kind of machine u will regret

It works very well and makes great slushies if you follow the directions. It is mostly plastic, so make sure you follow the directions to prevent breaking or damaging the parts. It is easy to clean, just run mildly hot water over the pieces then dry with a towel. Be careful not to run too hot water as it has just been very cold making the slushies with Rock Salt and cold water, and you might cause warping or cracking if you do.

Worked ok for 4 uses. Now won’t fully slush. Only good for nice cold drinks. Never did slush alcohol. Disappointed but there’s a reason it’s 1/3rd the price

Slushie machine is perfect for small personal parties or everyday use. Doesn’t take up a huge amount of space and is easy to set up and clean. Taste is perfect! Just like the original Slushie! Perfect addition to the Slushie loving crew!

We bought two of these units and used them for about 6 months, really trying to make them work in a commercial environment. Both machines had the same major issue: they cannot maintain freezing temperatures. The slush is good for a few hours, then the temperature rises, and the product turns to liquid — this happened daily. The only way to get them working again was to shut them off for several hours mid-afternoon, then restart for dinner service. This is not commercial-grade performance — it's completely unreliable. One of the units had both auger motors fail within a year. Vevor sent replacement motors and a video, but no help with the labor — which is a complicated job. Support responds within 48 hours, but the replies are barely useful. They routinely miss key details, only answer one question at a time, and it took two weeks of back-and-forth to be told: “this is normal operation.” If you’re expecting a machine that can run all day and keep your product frozen, this is not it. The compressor cannot handle continuous use, and the product listing is misleading. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. These machines are unreliable, poorly supported, and not suitable for any real service use. Do not buy. Total waste. Also when it comes to a refund both Vevor and Amazon send you in a loop and I was unable to get my money back.
