I have two of these ropes, a 1/2 inch by 20 feet, and a 3/4 inch by 30 feet. Both bought from AMAZON. Using the snatch technique (see on UTUBE at MATT'S OFFROAD RECOVERY), they both work wonderfully well.Because they don't come with a bag, I bought a couple of HARBOR FREIGHT 15 inch tool bags (less than $10.00) to hold the ropes and the soft and hard shackles that you need to connect them to the vehicles.These KINETIC ROPES, when used correctly greatly exceed the performance of tow straps.I strongly recommend that you watch a few episodes of MATT'S OFFROAD RECOVERY on UTUBE to learn how they are used. You will be surprised.

This is an invaluable investment if you are into snowmobiling in remote areas with no cellular coverage. My wife and I were able to pull one of our 600 lb snowmobiles (they are absolute monster machines) out of a 3 foot deep snowbank at 8pm in the deep of winter, up in the mountains in pitch darkness! The kinetic rope allowed the recovery to go smoothly. Took less than 3 minutes to hook it up to the snowmobile still on the trail, and under 30 seconds to extract! Only other accessory you need is a pair of those U shaped loop things. Shoveling and trying to pull it out with a Snow bungee is for the birds! This was Effortless! We won’t leave home without it!

Used to pull my RZR XP4, snowy day, blew transmission, by the time we got to the trailer I found the wrapping was frayed around the eye. Dosnt look terrible for function, but concerned it already has torn the wrappingWorked as it should, there is give and dosnt jerk the machine around like a regular tow strap

used it a couple times last weekend. pulled SXS out of deep mud. it does not come with a bag as advertised. took off 1 star for not receiving bag

I bought this for ATVs primarily as a tow rope but to also pull other ATVs out if needed. On a recent trip we needed to pull an ATV back to the cabin and used a basic non kinetic tow strap. That worked but you get that sudden jerk when slack gets in the rope (almost impossible not to do when pulling an ATV on trails with hills and tight turns) and then re-tightens jolting the pulling ATV driver and not great on rope or attachment points. I did a test with this rope pulling an ATV around the yard purposely allowing slack and tried to jerk the driver and the difference is incredible. Also can't believe how light this rope is which is great for ATV storage. Haven't used on a trail yet (hope I don't have to) but will be a much more comfortable tow back to camp if needed. PS...I did purchase two soft shackles to use to attach rope and they worked great as well.

Purchased the 3/4”x30’ orange rope. Bought it for off road recovery. But needed it to pull down a snapped hickory tree. Tried a 3/8 rope that I use on my ATV and snapped the rope. Purchase the above mentioned rope and it worked flawlessly. Highly recommend this rope. For the application I used it for I wish the rope was longer.Negative: nylon case it came with, the zipper broke the first time I went to store the rope after use.

First time use was to pull a snowmobile out of a very deep ditch where he was forced off the trail. The sled was a heavy 4 stroke machine buried up to windshield. First attempts to pull backwards did not work because ski's hooked. Dug down to hook onto front bumper and it pulled it out of the ditch with no problem. Nobody took pictures because they did not think it was ever going to work. Great Product - Everybody in our group was so amazed that they will be purchasing for their sleds and UTV's.
