No issues 15,000 miles later
I installed this on my 2013 Cruze 10 months and 15,000 miles ago and it has performed as expected without any issues. The clamp that came in the kit to connect the catalytic converter to the turbocharger did not fit and I had to reuse the old clamp. Other than this, all parts fit well.

Legit turbo
Installed this turbo on my Cruze I believe in January. And I haven’t had any issues with it since it’s been on. Other issues have occurred but nothing with the turbo itself. Works Great!

Inspect your Turbo before installation!!!
To keep a long story short after taking out the turbo on my wife's car to get to the oil cooler. I noticed a crack in the stock turbo by the wastegate. Ordered this turbo and received it in a timely manner. After completing the oil cooler install and attempted to install this turbo, I could not complete the install due to two issues. First issue was that the tare on the nuts onto the studs that are in the kit far exceed the maximum GM torque specifications that is required to install the manifold to the block. Would not be good if a stud breaks off into the block. Secondly, after getting a nut installed finally noticed I could not remove the socket off the nut unless you back off the nut due to the flange on the exhaust manifold not being milled properly. After calling Dorman technical support and spending a few hours of research on my end and his end the tech called me back and told me to take the turbo out and return it to the vendor in this case Amazon, luckily, I am within the 30-day return/refund policy. As for the stud and nut torquing issue the tech informed me that they instruct individuals to use the stock studs from GM to complete the installation of the turbo. I ended up just going with a GM turbo, studs, nuts, and gaskets which I highly recommend. I returned the turbo to Amazon with a sticky note inside the box instructing not to use turbo just in case it gets lost in the fray and sent to another customer. Good luck on your installation but from here on when it comes to critical engine or vehicle parts I advise to just go the GM route. It costs more but it definitely better than having to do the same job twice.

Didn't look used
Item arrived in an Amazon box, in a shrink wrapped package, all with Dorman tags and accessories. Nothing had been used as far as I could tell. For the price it was certainly a good option for changing the turbo with the Dorman brand. Install fit was similar to the Factory GM, Garrett model but required a 1/4" drive socket for the exhaust manifold nuts. You could not get a 3/8" drive in the lower spots, like the original because the casting was too close to the nuts (poor planning / quality here); otherwise everything else fit up well without any problems. Physically, the turbo portion was not any heavier than the original turbo as some have claimed. It is up to the part to determine if this turbo will outlast the original that accumulated 125K miles before 3 internal cracks nearly reaching the outside did it in. It is made in China. I believe the Garrett I replaced was originally assembled in Mexico. At this point I would certainly recommend this Amazon used option; although, I do not typically like buying after market parts for items like this. However, for this part I have not read any review that leads me to believe any supplier is better than another. As I told my Daughter, we are just going to through the "damaged" box that was advertised away, it is the part that I am concerned about and will live with. For now all works as it should.

Runs perfectly now
One issue with installation. The pcv hose would not fit so I rigged it to fit with a piece of heater hose . However my 2015 trax runs great now after 7k miles .. no issues. I spent a lot of time debating on purchasing this Dorman however I am happy with the unit

Whats nice is its half the price
2011 Chevy Cruze Eco Just put it on and its like I have a new car again. The car had a horrible idle I received no codes for this failure but it was obviously the problem. It comes with everything you need for the turbo but I would recommend replacing both coolant lines and Oil line while you are there. If one of those are bad you will just be redoing this project. The oil drain is brittle and the feed is known to get plugged. The coolant lines also both had slow leaks.

Works perfectly 1 year later
I bought the same Dorman Turbo for my 2014 Chevy Cruze. It is amazing a year later. My original failed at 210,000 miles! Here's why it worked for me: 1. I bought this turbo then brought it to the dealership and had them properly install it so I have the ACDelco service 12,000 mi / 12 month warranty. 2. I change my oil regularly with premium full synthetic high mileage oil with premium oil filters. 3. I've only used 91+ premium gas (ethanol-free if possible). 4. I've maintenanced my car soon when it needs. 5. Take care of things you have, have it installed properly, don't do it unless you're 100% sure like changing the oil, and you save money in the long run. Plus, my engine has 219,000 miles on it and still going strong with this new turbo. Do not try to fix things yourself unless you are competent. Trying to self-daignose your car, your health, your mental disorders, everything... will end up disastrous. This is why techs and mechanics are certified and provide warranties.

PLEASE DON'T BUY, READ ME.
Well this is a long story. Bought a turbo cause my waste gate and exhaust area cracked. Bought this and drive it 5 miles before a HUGE smoke cloud came out. Though my head gasket went, it over heated so I thought the head warped when I lost oil and coolant Bought a new head and head gasket...cause you know, it couldn't be the brand new turbo right? Well head, head gasket, head bolts, get timing cover cause well the entire engine is coming apart so do it while I'm in there. Had to modify intake manifold, cause of check valve blow out, flush intercooler cause of oil and coolant filling it up, This all came in well over $2000 not counting the turbo, plus still paying for car, normal life still happening, had to make arrangements $$$ to not run car and still get everything done. All because the turbine shaft seems to have snapped in half within 5 miles after install. So I didn't get to this until 6 months have passed, not a lottery winner and a worthless car isn't $0 just sitting in driveway....nope it is -$$$$ cause I'm out nearly $3000 total and a turbo that isn't counted in the $3k, I'm still out of a car as well that I've got to pay off and keep full insurance on for loan satisfaction. Ordered July 10th 2019, return window last day August 11th 2019. If I'd just pulled the turbo off the moment it happened. But you pay $$$ for something "new" you don't think at that moment it is that part. It didn't make a noise, and cause it's waste gate vents back into the exhaust you can't hear a difference. No chance of a replace, no chance of a refund, out on all the new parts for no reason and hopefully they don't fail too. At best I'll get a smug "we are sorry" text from the seller, of that. I could have finished paying the car off ahead of time and saved interest payments. If you by this turbo you deserve everything that happens to you in life from that point on. As for those involved with the making of it, the warranty, selling, and anyone who touched this turbo before it was in my possession, may 3 fold fall onto you, your loved ones, and your friends.
