Great helmet

This helmet is lightyears better than the first helmet I ever got, which was a crappy Bell brand. The sun visor really cuts down glare and operates easily and positively with a lever on the left side. Fit is spot on per the chart (63 cm = XXL). The shape and padding inside are very comfortable. The strap utilizes a plastic clip, like a snowboard binding, that looks to be of questionable strength, but I suppose I would rather have the clip break and the strap release than the strap not releasing and pulling my head off my neck if I somehow snag the edge of the helmet.

used the helmet today 06.19.2023 Gotrax scooter commute, DOT Approved, for motorbike, moped, street bike, Racing racing etc. Comfortable, Great visual, controlled tabs ventalation(closed or open), you have both regular clear shield and a Sun shield a Plus+ also a possibel blue tooth add in. for correct test fit I went to a moto shop, iarge was to tight for me, went for Xlarge Perfect!. Now need to spice up the look will add possible custom paint/mfr race stickers etc. Will post more photos later

Overall I like the helmet and I would buy it again. The Pros: - The design is nice (it is very cool looking) - The sun visor is nice to have. At first I was afraid I wouldn't like it but I do like it. - Fairly quite. 1-10 on quietness I would rate it a 7.5. Riding with the visor closed it is very quite under 45 MPH. A bit more noisy at higher speeds but that is to be expected. If you ride with the visor up you hear a squeaky noise. Also expected. - Fits nice. I ordered an XXL (yep I have a big head) and it fit about perfect for me :) Cons are minor but I will list them (don't take them to serious). - The vents don't seem to work that well as I hardly notice when they are open. However, I think that this is a matter of safety and quietness. If they were any bigger it might compromise the safety and it would probably be louder. I am fine once I get moving but I open the visor when I stop. - The strap already seems to have some fraying. Some threads in the middle of it have come loose. It may have been due to the product info tag that was attached to it. - Shipping packaging was not the best. It was just in it cloth bag in a box that was in a box. Needless to say there was an issue. A small prong on the visor was broken. It was still somewhat usable, but the seller sent a replacement to me quickly. - I ordered the white to keep the heat down. There are very faint spots on the helmet (almost unnoticeable) where the darker layer underneath shows through. Like I said it is very faint and it doesn't even bother me, as you really have to be looking for it. I actually thought of sharing a picture of this but I don't think it will show on a picture. (But I just want the manufacturer to be aware of this) My conclusion: In general it is a great helmet for the money, and I would buy it again.

No complaints. My first helmet, so I can't compare it to others. Seems like high quality. Feels very comfortable on my head. I love the tinted viser that pops down with a small switch. Matches my new bike. The many vents it has work well when actually riding. And it has a quick release on the chin strap. It comes with some reflective stickers, a soft glasses type rag it wipe it down, as well as a soft bag to store it.

This helmet fits perfectly! Great features! Great for the value and perfect ease! Not to heavy! Weight is even balanced! The sunshield is of great blue color and the front shield is clear for night riding!

A normal ride for me is 3 hours in the saddle. A long day is 400-500 miles. This review may not apply if you are just tooling around town on your motorcycle. I also have to say I bought this helmet for $30, not the $69 that it's listed at now. Also, I've never owned a $400 helmet... maybe they are magical and silent, I wouldn't know. The Good - It's a helmet and it's cheap. I don't think it's too loud, but I have a windshield. It's not silent but it's normal. I got the XX-Large and it fits me. I think they run a bit small. The quick disconnect is convenient. The availability of replacement shields is great. The shield is crystal clear I'm regularly reaching to pull the shield down when it's already down. It's like it isn't there. The shield clicks firmly and feels secure. The sun visor is OK. I think it's a bit too dark and comes down a bit too far, but it's not terrible. I tend to wear my helmet low in the front. When I push the chin up to a "normal" position the visor doesn't touch my nose. It seems to work OK. Now the problem (at least if you wear it for more than 90 minutes). The hard foam under the forehead band has a sharp edge on it. The foam padding is insufficient. After 90 minutes I got a hot spot on my forehead that was painful. I ride long distances and this won't work. I modified my helmet by pulling the padding away, then pulling the plastic cover off the foam padding. It is held on with a bead of what looks like hot glue. I then used my thumb to press the sharp edge out, making a more rounded edge on the white foam. I also pulled that bead of hot glue off the foam entirely. It might be what caused me to feel the sharp edge. The helmet works fine without it. I rode for 4.5 hours after the modification and it was perfectly comfortable. Conclusion: With modification listed above this is as good a helmet for me as any other. The price is right compared to many helmets. And the modification is easy to do.

Quello che cercavo... Rispetta ciò di come viene descritto. Sono contenta dell'acquisto... Consiglio l'acquisto.

J'ai mesuré mon tour de crâne qui est de 56,5 cm de circonférence, et même la taille XL (qui est donnée selon le fabricant pour du 61-62cm) m'écrase les maxillaires et le front, me provoquant la nausée. N'ayant pas une grosse tête, mais une grosse mâchoire, ça vient peut-être en partie de là. Sinon ce casque est très bien : prix imbattable, bonnes finitions, double visière anti-UV rabatable, mousses détachables... bref à vous de voir.
