Organic fertilizers are derived from natural sources and provide nutrients to plants in a slow and sustainable manner. They are an excellent choice for environmentally conscious gardeners and farmers. Here are some common types of organic fertilizers and their benefits: Compost: Source: Decomposed organic matter, such as kitchen scraps, yard waste, and manure. Benefits: Rich in organic matter, compost improves soil structure, water retention, and provides a balanced range of nutrients. It enhances microbial activity in the soil. Manure: Source: Animal waste, such as cow, chicken, or horse manure. Benefits: A good source of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Manure also adds organic matter to the soil and helps improve soil fertility. Bone Meal: Source: Ground bones, usually from cattle. Benefits: High in phosphorus, bone meal is beneficial for flowering and fruiting plants. It contributes to root development and overall plant strength. Fish Emulsion: Source: Fish waste and remains. Benefits: Provides a quick source of nitrogen, as well as phosphorus and potassium. It is often used as a liquid fertilizer and promotes vigorous plant growth. Blood Meal: Source: Dried and powdered animal blood, usually from cattle. Benefits: High in nitrogen, blood meal is excellent for promoting leafy green growth in plants. It's a fast-acting organic fertilizer. Seaweed/Kelp Fertilizer: Source: Extracts from seaweed or kelp. Benefits: Rich in trace minerals, seaweed fertilizer enhances plant growth, improves stress resistance, and promotes overall plant health. Cover Crops: Source: Various plants grown to cover and protect the soil. Benefits: Leguminous cover crops, like clover, add nitrogen to the soil through a process called nitrogen fixation. Cover crops also prevent erosion and improve soil fertility. Green Manure: Source: Plants, such as legumes, that are grown and then plowed back into the soil. Benefits: Adds organic matter, improves soil structure, and releases nutrients as it decomposes. When using organic fertilizers, it's important to note that they release nutrients more slowly compared to synthetic fertilizers. Patience is key, as organic fertilizers contribute to long-term soil health and sustainability. Additionally, the choice of organic fertilizer may depend on the specific nutrient needs of the plants and the soil conditions. Always follow recommended application rates to avoid over-fertilizing.

Compost made using vermiculture. It smells earthy, although I've used vermicomposts that smell even more earthy and humic - which is why I'm giving this 4 stars. Mix one tablespoon in the top layer of soil every 2 weeks or once a month (depending on the plant) and you'll see a remarkable difference. The presence of sand in this mix aerates the soil well and gives good texture as well. I use this in my regular potting mixes for houseplants and succulent mixes as well. Tip: Even though it arrives relatively dry, I suggest you sun-dry it for 2 days and then use. This will kill pathogens/fungus, if any.

Never regretted this food for my plants. I fed this by mixing with coco peat in 1:3 ratio before I left house for 10 days. Water was plenty due to monsoon. And when I came back I was astounded to see my plants in full bloom. I expected them to dehydrate and some could even die due to lack of care. But this product really worked wonders. You can even spot the worms after a few days. Thanks to KraftSeeds and hope you keep it's quality intact, Please do not compromise as a few of your other products are not doing well.

The quality of soil is very good the plants are blossoming and flourishing since I have Transplanted them into the soil.. But after a few weeks of transplanting I noticed an earthworm crawling out of the soil! Value for money is good! I recommend purchasing this soil. I have bought it several times and earthworm appearance is rare. Don't think just go ahead !!
