Only the frame is solid wood. The drawers are made from a composite mdf type material. A good finish though and looks fine. Definitely value for money.

This is a beautiful chest of drawers and very solid. Just adds such a lovely feel to my bedroom. For the extra money it is so worth it - no assembly! It is very well made and the handles were all taped inside each drawer - very simple to screw them on. I would highly recommend.
