Robinson Racing 7247 47T Savage X Hardened Steel Spur Gear

Get rid of that plastic spur gear and upgrade to this. Ran a gallon through my savage x already and have had no issues. Smooth operation, very tough. My plastic spur gear literally burnt up from the heat build up.Even came with instructions to take the brass spacer from the stock gear and place on this. Buy some slippers because this didn't come with one.

Very precise manufacturing and good quality steel. No problems with this gear. Price is high relative to other gears but there were no problems.

I bought this about two months ago for savage x4.6 and I hate it! I've been throught three hardened clutch bells because it is way to hard and just rips the metal off it. I had my gear mesh set by a pro and it still is chewing the clutch bell, I would recommend a plaastic cheap one that holds up pretty good so that you don't have to take the clutch bell out replace, take out the engine put the mounting screws back on set the mesh then titen go with PLASTIC!

Works perfect happy with purchase only thing 8s you will need a bigger Bering than stock but was right and did n9t have to adjust for new spur gear

item was as described. will need a new clutch pad to install but that isnt in the description. there isnt any installation guide to go with it either.

Don't get it makes your truck run slower
