My face has been smooth like never before

Bought as a gift so I didn’t see it but the recipient was very happy with it.

The most distinctive thing about this product is the weirdly adorable bearded baby shown on the box. As for anything distinctive about the products themselves… not so much. They are extremely generic skincare and beard products, almost entirely odourless, generally colourless (white for the creams, see-through for the other goo), and generally, extremely forgettable. However, I do have to say, they work fine. The beard shampoo lathers well and gives a nice softness to my beard (though as a gel it’s almost too thick to squeeze out of the small bottle it’s provided in), then following that on with either the balm or the oil does the expected job of thickening up and applying a little bit of control and sheen to stop things getting too bushy. Itchiness on my beard is reduced by using this, compared to not using anything at all, so in that sense, everything works. The bag of skincare products would be almost impossible to tell apart if it weren’t for the main part of the label, because they’re all subtle variations of the same white cream. The ‘scrub’ is a tiny bit thicker, but not all that coarse, while the eye cream is a tiny bit more oily, but if they weren’t side-by-side I’d be hard pressed to tell which was which. But my skin responds OK to it, even some of the more sensitive skin, and I haven’t had any problems with it so far. The presentation leaves a little something to be desired. Some of the labelling and grammar is a little awkward, and the plastic bag, plastic tray and card box aren’t going to convince anyone that this was a really expensive gift. But let’s be honest, the bearded baby is funny. These product bottles are all less than 100ml each so they have the added potential use as travel items as well. But they’re the kind of product where you’re not going to get too upset if you accidentally leave them in the hotel. At twenty quid (at time of writing) for eight small products not much bigger than sampler size, all of which are on the forgettable side but fine for everyday use, everything about this pack just says ‘OK’ rather than being any kind of real hair-grooming treat.

This product caused rash and dryness. It burned my son's face. Please do not buy.

Good value for money, my husband's skin has improved since using these products. Will definitely be re-purchasing again

This is a quite unusual product set, as it comes packaged as what seems to be two packages - one for the facial skin and one for the facial hair. The facial skin products are what I was really attracted to. I was a little disappointed by the size of the products as they very much give the impression of travel pack sizes. I do actually like the products in terms of the pleasant experience of application though, especially the moisturisers, but there's not a lot of longevity there.

I had a bit of a "two pronged" reason for getting this set I wanted the facial care items for myself , and the beard care items as a gift for my brother , so this set was ideal as it catered for both of us ! You get a lot of products in this set On the man face care front you get five products , daily face wash, facial scrub , facial day creme , overnight face creme and day and night eye creme . They are all quite small tubes but you don't need a lot so they should last a while . I have been using them for a few days now , and for someone who didn't use anything I can definitely notice the difference , even my wife says she can ! On the beard set you get three items , beard shampoo , beard balm and thicken beard oil ( not sure about the boys face with a beard on the box , find it a bit creepy ! ) Great value set with a total of 8 products
