Dore's art is so beautiful and detailed. So many illustrations for such a reasonable price.

I was looking forward to receiving this volumn...very disappointed. The pictures are very dark and murky...looks like they were copied from a cheap copier . I know the book was less than 20 bucks, but I expected clear pictures.😟

Bought the book for the illustrations and love it. Wish artists today could draw like Gustave Dore.

Not the highest resulting but for the price, the size, the cover quality and amou t of art old and new testament you can't go wrong.

One of the best Bible classic illustrations. Black and white original illustrations by Gustave Dore are colored out by an Israel artist to give to the time proven illustrations a new dimension.

A low-quality book. Printed on cheap paper from low-resolution digital files. The images are pixelated, which is why many details of the engravings are lost. Due to the cheap printing, the images have low contrast, which turns them into a solid grey spot. Glue stains on the cover.
