BestLyfe Muscle & Joint Pain Relief Gel
For about 10 years now I’ve been suffering from variable levels of lower back, hip and knee pain, the legacy of too much sporting endeavour, with osteoarthritis the main culprit. The problems are also manifestly accentuated during the colder months of the year, so I’m always happy to try anything in order to make the going easier. I’ve found this muscle and joint massage gel to be reasonably effective, although it’s worth taking your time whilst massaging it in, as it also helps to get the blood flowing. It also means that the gel is then well worked in, although may take some time before you start to notice the full benefit. In this sense, it’s probably not quite as fast acting as pain-killing tablets or ibuprofen gels. It’s not a miracle cure but I’ve been applying it, particularly when I’m feeling stiff and achy. Smell-wise it has a mild menthol aroma that lingers after application but doesn’t make your eyes water or get up into the sinuses. Nevertheless, you should still wash your hands thoroughly after use. In terms of size, 150ml is probably just about acceptable for the price, although you may find any number of rub-in-remedies which work just as well. Ultimately, it’s all a matter of trial and error and finding something which helps your own particular problem.

Good but only buy when discounted
Effectiveness 4* - definitely gives relief for muscle spasms but only lasts a few hours and have to reapply so you end up using a lot / finishing it quickly. Gentle 5* - no drying or reaction despite the intensity of sensation BUT wash your hands twice As a massage gel 1* - you get seconds to massage before it dries Price 2* - even at £13 this is expensive and price just goes up and up ... main factor as to why this wouldn't be a regular buy for me. After using i would now be ok to pay £8-10 as a max to buy regularly.

This really works
My husband had a bad shoulder for weeks and could hardly lift his arm. He applied the cream and after one application his shoulder is so much better and can lift it much higher than he could before. Well happy good product

Relief
Great product maybe a little bit expensive but it really helped

Good quality, and more natural than many alternatives. Expensive, but quite effective.
The family member who tried this against back muscle pain reports that it is nicer to use than their usual Deep Heat, has a better texture and little smell, but is perhaps slightly less effective. It is more expensive, at £11.95 for a 150l tube.
