This is a very nice travel toothbrush holder. The aluminum metal is sleek, very slightly textured for grip, and seems to be good quality. It fits my Oral B or Colgate type of fairly basic toothbrushes. I’m not sure if one of the extra, extra large manual toothbrushes with a big curve would fit, so check dimensions before buying. I really like how easy this design is for cleaning. You don’t need a pipe cleaner to poke into a tube structure, because this holder opens with a sideways, lengthwise, attached lid, like a book or most aluminum business card holders. There’s a hole for ventilation while it’s closed up, which is a bit minimally sized, but then it doesn’t leak. The lid is secured with a friction fit, again like similar-looking business card holders. At first I wasn’t sure if it would stay closed during travel, but it has stayed closed so far. It’s not too tight, either. The hinges extend the length of the holder, and they’re sturdy and work smoothly. I am quite pleased with the aesthetics, design and functionality. It’s worth buying, as it’s much nicer than most plastic holders. Recommend.

I really love these toothbrush cases. They are made of lightweight aluminum and they have multiple vent holes on the bottom of the case which prevents the toothbrush 🪥 from getting moldy. I also like the fact that the case opens up like a book or traditional door. That makes cleaning the inside of the case so much easier. I wish I had purchased these sooner. I was using plastic toothbrush cases which open like traditional capped pens. This makes cleaning the inside of the holder more difficult. The metal ones can be cleaned with a sponge and dish soap. The plastic ones would probably require a brush for cleaning straws. What a hassle!!! Well, problem solved. These aluminum toothbrush holders will last me a very long time!!! I bought this for touring. I wanted something that wasn't plastic. I think this is a great product, it survived well on a two month tour. It has some vents for the toothbrush to breath and dry. I think it is a good value for the money. Fits your standard toothbrush.

*EDIT: After viewing some of the other reviews, I felt inspired to record a video & edit my original review due to the disingenuous reviews claiming this is plastic. As is apparent in my video, you can clearly hear the ‘ting’ sound of the metal on metal vs. the metal against the actual plastic item. Perhaps these reviewers received another item made of plastic & were being truthful, but if you’re playing games through the sharing of dishonest reviews, that ruins the credibility & premise of Amazon reviews as some of us shop according to honest feedback on information from others who’ve purchased these items. To anyone considering purchasing this aluminum toothbrush case, not only is it made of metal, & not plastic, I also demonstrated in my video, the security of the lid closure as well. Below is my original review. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I try my personal best to not purchase anything plastic.personal practices aside, it’s incredibly difficult these days to find anything in travel containers NOT made of plastic, and even more challenging finding them functionally strong while looking good. I had a travel set made of aluminum and silicone I had purchased at a Wegmans Grocery store from 10+ years ago that was lost with everything else in Hurricane Helene but the lid was separately attached and would come off during travel. I had replaced my old set with a silicone topper for the toothbrush but it wasn’t secure; kept getting yucky and then fell off one day and I haven’t found it since. I am so happy to find this aluminum travel toothbrush holder to keep my toothbrush clean inside. It looks nice and fits inside my leather train case (shown behind it in pictures) along with my favorite tooth powder. It closes securely with no separate lid to get lost or allow debris inside either. I’m considering purchasing a second one to store away in case I ever lose this one because finding quality toothbrush containers is a challenging process these days.

Exactly what it says it is. An aluminum case for your toothbrush, simple and effective. Has holes in the back for water to drain out if you put a wet toothbrush in it so water doesn't collect or for ease of cleaning. Nice and light and flat so its easy to pack and not take up much room like a cylinder one does.
