Cats love this. My oldest cat has been eating this since she was a kitten. I like the high protein content and I trust the brand. Smells more like real meat than other cheap brands. Kibble isn’t huge. Cats always gravitate to this food when I have multiple kinds out.

This ia the only cat food my cat eats. He doesn't even eat canned food which could be bad for him. That's way I feed him this brand. It is very expensive but Ginger (my cat) says he is looking for a job. SURE that will be the day. So if anyone out there knows of a job for a 17 year old retired cat, that sleeps about 92% of the day away, please let me know.

I've been out of this food for 1.5 days and my cats are literally climbing the walls. Three out of 5 prefer it (the other 2 were previously feral and prefer the Instinct rabbit. I am snowed in and hoping to God the Amazon driver can deliver it. They love it. It does have a calming effect on them and I need to monitor my tubby boy because he ends up too calm, then doesn't run around enough. Plus I want him eating some canned food. They have been on it for a few years and are very healthy and happy. I believe it is calming because of the chicken fat and mostly the whey protein, which is found in some calming supplements. I do think Instinct is a good and trustworthy company, although kibble is not the best for their health. It's a little hard to wean them off of it when they like it this much. I buy the small bags, because the bottom of big kibble bags get stale. When it gets to the bottom of the bag I pour it into a pasta drainer to get the crumbs out, then back in the bag. Otherwise they won't eat it with the crumbs that make them cough. (That happens with any kibble.)

For the past year or so, we have been ordering our cat food from Amazon. For some reason, our cat didn't like the 2nd to the last bag that we received. I don't know what was wrong with the cat food, it was within the expiration date. Something may have been wrong with the lot, or perhaps it was exposed to excessive heat or cold somewhere along the line. Whatever the reason, our cat did not like the food and it was past the 30 day refund window so we couldn't return it for a refund. We opened another bag and it was fine, so go figure. The 3 star rating is for the one bag that we received that was a little off, that we couldn't return because of the 30 day return window.

I feed this to my barn cats and ferrets as they all need high protein. All the cats and ferrets live this food! It is very pricey but the quality is good
