Whole Body Deodorant Aluminum Free pH Balancing Cream Raspberry & Rose for 72h Odor Control 2.5 Oz

I weigh 256 lbs. I have a lot of crevices that overlap each other. I also run 2-3 miles 3 times a week and about 5-6 miles on Saturdays. My Saturday miles will continue to increase. All that to say my original deodorant didn't do much to stave off my body odor. It also wasn't an all over deodorant. I'm always so stinky after my runs. I got this deodorant on a Friday so I used it for my Saturday long run. It was also very hot out that day. The high was 103° and it was almost 90° by 9:30 am. I ran and I sweat profusely. I got home after my 4.5 mile run and I obviously had a little body odor but it wasn't so bad. My daughter said at worst I just smell like I've been outside for a long time but it wasn't horrible like usual. That same day I showered and reapplied the deodorant, and went on a 2 mile walk in 100°. Today was a 2.5 mile run and I don't smell myself like usual. I feel comfortable not showering since I have a workout at lunch time as well. It also doesn't break me out like most deodorants do because there's no aluminum which is a big deal for me because when I get rashes from wearing aluminum deodorant I can't wear deodorant until it's gone and no one wants that. Anyhoo it's an easy application. Just squirt a little on two fingers and apply to your pits and crevices. It's got the texture and consistency of lotion. It keeps me smelling decent after sweating. I know someone said theirs had a sour milk smell and I think that probably has more to do with their body odor composition and less about the deodorant.

Great for workouts. Or if you have areas that sweat a lot that conventional deodorant doesn’t work for. Love the scent. Wish the application was more like a roll on as a lot comes out if you’re not careful. However its easy to apply, last for at least 12 hours for me. Doesn’t irritate me at all in my sensitive areas. Good value for money and very effective.

Ever since I found this product I do not use anything else! I did try Lume, but I hated all of their scents. Dove has two very pleasant soft scents and that is all they need. You can’t go wrong with either one. Obviously I use it for my armpits, but it’s not limited to just that area. I also use it on my feet and I’ve noticed that my feet are softer and don’t smell bad at the end of my day. I also use it on my children’s feet and same for them. It may seem like it’s not enough, but you don’t need a lot. It has lasted me over a month. I do like to look for the sales so that I don’t run out.

The product itself is nice, especially if you have dry skin. I didn't notice any irritation. However, the scent dries down to more 'rose' than 'raspberry.' Like a sweet rose, if you will. The first couple of times it smelled nice, but after that, the strong scent made my tummy feel ishy, frankly. The scent does linger all day (and into the next day), for better or worse. I can't tell if it prevented stink or just covered it up...

It is so heavily perfumed it makes me sick, but the scent is nice. I can’t handle putting it on so I can’t really tell you if it’s affective for a barrier.

dove burned my armpits! i have been using lume for months now and have been blown away (much to my annoyance because the marketing drives me bananas. the coconut is the only one that doesn’t have the weird smell to it in my opinion, then the lavender is… okay) but i ran out and wanted to try this because it’s much cheaper. mistake! day one i didn’t notice anything other than the very sweet, but nice, smell of sweet roses and raspberry. day two it starts burning but i thought that maybe i hadn’t properly dried my pits post shower before applying or maybe i got a little sweaty before the cream dried. tender to the touch all the next day. day three i make sure i am very dry and stay cool so there is mo chance of sweating. apply without immediate burning but it’s been a couple hours now and the pain is intense and my pits are red and raw even after rewashing and getting it all of. a shame! definitely be wary if you have sensitive skin. know that it is not remotely the same as lume. ouch!!

The scent isn’t my favorite, but the product works really well on hot, sweaty days. It’s very effective, with a light, fluid texture that isn’t greasy

So far it’s lasted 24 hours I usually shower in the summer every day but because of my age I sweat a lot and I’ve tried soooo many antiperspirant and all of them leave a sticky residue but my doctor told me to use a good deodorant instead I was skeptical but he was right no stickiness plus I smell great. I’ve tried the real expensive ones and they do work this one is more affordable.
