Biona Organic Wholegrain Spelt Penne, 500g

A little expensive but if you’re sensitive to modern wheat and crave pasta it’s a great option! Cook well, tastes good and digests with much more grace than the alternatives for me.

I like whole-food cooking, I cook from fresh pretty much every day. I have tried spelt bread and thought I would give this a go to use in my “soups with pasta” recipes that I use a lot. I was very pleasantly surprised. Tasty, robust whole food texture (which I like) not at all “rubbery” and a little goes a long way when cooked, so good vfm & quality nutrition.

Absolutely love this pasta. I’m very easy to cook. This helped me during my vegan diet as a plant based. Very tasty, however, it is a little high in carbs but I just eat it in moderation

Delicious pasta, if you are trying to make healthier choices this pasta is for you. It’s a staple in my kitchen now.

We liked the rather earthy flavour and the slime free texture. It's different from the spelt pasta we've had for years so a degree of accustomization needed but we're already ordering more.

You can't go wrong with Biona on anything, this is a excellent quality.
