Would give it five stars but mine came in with a scratch from shipping. Packaging could be a bit better.

Love it, as a novice fisher- woman this spinning reel with 30lb braid works fabulous for my rod! So quiet, and smooth. Easy to work and light weight i have the 4000. Drag is easily to manipulate as well. Look great on my white and Blue Shakespeare Tiger 7’ rod. As far as balance i do not notice a problem. Maybe because of my skill level. But i can say, I am catching more fish because of the change in the reel and Braid line alone, and i FISH both freshwater and Saltwater. JUST BESURE TO RINSE YOUR EQUIPMENT EACH TIME. This reel handles just fine and I recommend it.

This reel of is a bang for your buck . I have bought this same reel a size 3000 previously ago is the summer. The reel sizes are great. I got a size 4000 for some big inshore striper later and sense I used the same reel before know it preforms very well. I forgot how big a size 4000 was for this reel and before I had a 3000. This reel is perfect for striper, redfish, bluefish etc. this reel is a bang for your buck for the price.
