Fantastic collectible comic book cover postcard collection, starring everyone’s favorite web-slinger, your friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Colorful and high quality postcard set depicts comic book covers featuring the character, going all the way back to his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962, and including iconic covers to have featured Spider-man, his amazing friends (so to speak) and villains from the past to modern times, with first appearances, classic storylines, and more from the best artists to have ever drawn the webhead – Steve Ditko, John Romita Sr., Todd McFarlane, Mark Bagley, Alex Ross and others. Ideal to have for your own personal collection, or for sending to friends and family who used to read comics, are comics fans, especially Marvel or Spider-man fans, or who just appreciate something truly colorful and unique. Set does NOT include ASM 129
Any fan of the comics will recognize Amazing Spider-Man 129 as the issue that feature the debut of Frank Castle, aka The Punisher. Somewhat disappointing the creators of this postcard set chose not to include this cover as part of their postcard set. Otherwise it’s a nice collection that does include AF 15 & ASM’s 1, 50, 121, 122, 238, 252 & 300, if you’re willing to overlook an obvious omission.
