An absolutely fantastic iPad model well worth the upgrade!
So I'd decided to upgrade from the iPad 9th Generation to the 10th mainly because I really loved the pink and I'd got a grey one that I hated (😂) but still I'm so glad that I did upgrade because not only does the pink look absolutely beautiful but also there's a significant improvement in a wide range of elements such as the camera, visual and audio quality which makes it well worth the money. The screen quality is fantastic and super high definition which makes watching videos a great experience, the speakers sound crystal clear even at loud volumes making it an ideal device for streaming music without the necessary need for a bluetooth speaker, the system runs so smoothly and responds fast with no lag, freezing or crashing, plus the photos and videos both look significantly better quality than the previous iPad models. It's compatible with all the Apple pencils and has a magnetic part on the side which the pencil connects to, I have the 1st gen pencil and even though it requires a slightly different connection procedure, it still works fantastic and fluently with no issues. The battery life is brilliant and a full charge seems to last me up to a full day or even beyond depending on how much I'm using it, it charges up pretty fast and doesn't drain quickly unlike my 9th gen which I was convinced had battery problems from the start! Even though I'd usually get a larger storage size than 64gb (I didn't want to fork out a ton more money on a 256gb model as I have a Mac and iPhone), I've still got all the apps I want on it along with all my videos, notes, photos etc with plenty of storage left, plus I try to use my devices for different purposes so I don't need all the apps that I've got on my phone that I take out with me on my iPad which I always leave at home. Even though it's smaller in size than my 9th gen model, it's got a much wider screen which graciously makes up for the small decrease in its physical size, plus it's been much more ideal for me to use with ease because even though I obviously want something that's bigger than my small iPhone 13, I have small hands so I don't want to feel uncomfortable struggling to hold a massive tablet, especially whilst in bed, but this has been the perfect size for me. I also really like that this iPad has a rounder shape with smooth edges which just makes it even more comfortable to hold and I think it makes its whole appearance look a lot nicer too, especially with a case on. It's such a premium, strong, durable build even though I think it feels a lot lighter than previous iPads and you can really both see and feel the quality, making its price tag very justifiable. This is the first iPad I believe which has a USB C charger rather than a lightning one and it also doesn't have a home button which has been a little strange for me and took a bit of getting used to (along with remembering what each of the side buttons do and where they're located as I'm pretty sure they're also different to the previous models and I kept mixing up which buttons turns the volume up and down!) but it's not really been a big issue at all for me and it means the screen gets to be bigger which is the most important part so I can't complain! I definitely feel like I've still got a lot more to discover as I haven't had the iPad too long but I've covered the most important parts of the iPad, it has lots of fantastic, new features and abilities (including the Touch ID now being on the power button rather than the home button!) and it's just so much fun to use whether it's for gaming or just general social media, online shopping, TikTok and YouTube like me. It's a brilliant model that's well worth buying, I bought it for £309 which is a lot for a 2022 model however it seems to be the same price (if not cheaper) brand new from other retailers like John Lewis, Curry's, Very etc and not an awful lot cheaper on eBay, even to buy second hand so it was definitely still worth buying off here as I have Prime membership and always feel covered if there's any issues or I need to return the item. I received it the following evening after I'd purchased it from DPD rather than the Amazon delivery van but still it arrived safely with no damage and the product worked perfectly so that wasn't a problem at all as I've had multiple amazon deliveries arrive from other delivery companies. I'd 100% recommend this as both an upgrade or a first iPad as it's just an overall fantastic model and a huge refresh from the previous models which never seemed to be too different from one another! I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm sure even if Apple released an 11th gen I wouldn't want to upgrade as I'm in love with both how it looks and how it works! 😍

amazing.
I absolutely love my new iPad. Design is very sleek and fashionable. Battery life is amazing and functionality is amazing. I bought this with a little bag but before the bag arrived, this iPad was amazingly portable It’s speed is fantastic unless storage is almost full

Great upgrade
I replaced my old iPad (8+yrs old) with this 10th generation iPad. A huge improvement in terms of memory, speed, battery life etc. Very easy to migrate my data following the Apple instructions on the iPad. Several months in and no issues with performance or reliability. The price was very competitive and less than I was expecting. I wish I had made the upgrade earlier!

iPad
It's an Apple iPad, so not much to add to millions of other reviews. Bought as a gift. Seems well made and works well. Screen looks good. Not a fan of the Apple 'walled garden' myself, so hard to judge but as Tablets go, it is one of the better ones I've used.

iPad, probably the best value tablet computer you can get
I think most Apple products are over priced and not objectively better than cheaper competing products. But iPads are the exception. For the money its tough to get something that performs as well, is as well built, looks this good and works as well (onboard storage is still outrageously expensive though). Check out the benchmarks on Geekbench for comparative performance with other tablets. I don't bother with a laptop now because apart from a smaller screen the iPad does everything my laptop did and more. Now that the connector is USB C compatible I can use an external keyboard and mouse via a USB hub if I need to do a lot of typing. I can use external storage to supplement the frankly stingy amount of onboard storage if I need to. Finally, I can used USB to connect to devices like DAC/Amps and Digital Cameras. Tough to beat at the price.

Nice iPad…
For the price that I paid, I do like this iPad one of the complaints I do have is that the volume is not loud enough! My old iPad Air is much louder so it’s not my hearing it is actually the iPad that is low. This is why I gave four stars. Battery life is good it’s responsive and fast enough just the sound quality is not the best.
