DANGER!! THIS ITEM WILL SELF START AT ANY TIME DO NOT LEAVE ANY METAL OBJECT ON IT AFTER USE
The item itself is very powerful and does great job but its a safety hazard! it can cause fire as it will actual just self start at any time it might be defective but there was no way contacting the seller. this is disappointing from Amazon side! Really if you would get this item ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU EITHER SWITCH IT OFF FROM THE OUTLET OR NEVER LEAVE ANY WOK OR ANYTHING METAL ON TOP AS IT ALREADY SELF-STARTED ON FULL POWER MORE THAN ONCE LUCKY I WAS AROUND TO SWITCH IT OFF. I GIVE IT ONE START RATING DUE TO FAILURE OF SAFETY AND NOT BEING ABLE TO EVEN CONTACT THE SELLER.

FIRST GENERATION USED JUNK, BUYER BEWARE!
As the saying goes, "when something seems too good to be true, it usually is." The lower price on this seemed like a good intro into testing induction hobs and cooking. When the product arrived, it was clearly a re-packaged, used item, but sold as new. Upon opening, my fears were confirmed. The unit was not wrapped in any type of plastic as is typical for new items. The power cord was loosely laid flapping around the box, and dirty from use. This was most likely from the grease and cooking oil on the unit and inside the concave area where the wok rests. Picking up the unit, it weighs next to nothing, basically a thin "stainless steel" shell with some wires inside. The lack of build quality is further accentuated by the mismatched feet on the unit. Placing it on a flat table, it wobbles due to one or two of the small feet/legs being of such low quality, not even consistent height on a 2-3cm tall part. After wiping down the unit, and getting as much oil and grease off the controls as possible, I finally had a chance to test the unit. To its credit, it did turn on. However, it took some time to figure out since the instruction manual was also missing from the box, and the posting and internet contain no instructions or information on this cheap unit. So, what does "E0" or "E5" mean? That's anyone's guess. I was able to finally get power on, power adjusted, and start seasoning the wok, also purchased from this company. It did heat quickly, and the wok did burn off the industrial oil, albeit it took awhile since the unit would overheat and shut itself off...at least I think that's what E4 or E5 meant. This is also how I determined this is cheap, Gen1 induction technology. The heating is not consistent, you can hear the power "pulse" on-off-on-off as it's heating the pan on the hob. This lack of consistent heat and power also notes the lower quality of the unit, and the "3.5KW" claim is questionable. If this unit was 200 AED and was sold to me as a "used/returned" item, I would be absolutely ok with what I received, as any return/refurbished items are always a gamble. BUT...to sell this as a high quality commercial cooker, and new item at that, only to ship out a used, filthy, greasy, previously cooked on unit? These are the types of sales which hurt Amazon sellers reputation. I will be returning this unit for a refund, so hopefully no one gets my return as their next "new" item.
