It seems like I got a defective product. Looks like the plexiglass over the front flexed somehow before it got to me and the ball for letter D got stuck in the middle of the letter where it can’t get out. Other than that, I love the idea but it is hard to actually grab the ball and drag it to the top to get it to stay. There is a small divet at the top of each letter where the ball is supposed to stay, but if you’re not doing it slowly and carefully it falls back out and rolls down the letter (which can be frustrating for littles). Once the ball is at the top, it’s a good way for them to learn letter recognition and tracing, because you have to follow the entire letter shape.

Great educational toy! We got this for my little one to use while he sits on the potty. He needs too practice taking good time and listening to his body but gets bored, this toy was a huge help!!! He relaxes and uses the magnets to learn while he’s there. He also has brought it for many car rides and whenever other kids come over to play they all love using the magnet board. Great gift too!

This is a great basic alphabet learning toy. I wish the start area for each letter was more will defined. Attached masher "pen"is nice quality & works well, and the entire item overall has nice colors & is a good size. I'd get it again!

The board came defective - the ball that was meant to be inside the p was outside the p. The board does not teach how to write letters correctly because the ball does not start at the top of each letter. It looks to be very high quality, but it does not meet my needs as a teacher of preschoolers.

The stylus is too wide at its tip. It makes observing the beads as they move along challenging.

We have enjoyed other magnet-ball toys in the past, but this one is special. It stands out as an innovative and unique toy and learning tool. Things I love- it has a nice finished to it. There are groves in the letters to encourage the full proper motion for forming letters, not just the basic shape. It's solid, and is overall well made. It's an engaging toy that even works as a fidget toy for older kids. Two minor things I don't like- the magnetic pen is a bit short; shorter than our other magnet puzzle. Not a deal breaker, just a little disappointing. Also, the plexiglass flexes a bit in the middle, just enough that the magnet has a harder time picking the balls up when it is flat on the ground. This can be overcome by pushing down on the glass, or by playing with it on an incline or vertically. Overall, this is a fantastic toy for little learners! Anything that makes handwriting fun for them is a win in this homeschooling mama's book.
