This cacao powder has a rich chocolate flavor and tastes really clean. I use it for smoothies, baking, and even mixing into oatmeal, and it works great every time. It blends well and isn’t bitter like some other brands. I like that it’s organic and non-GMO. Really good quality and a solid value.

I’ve used a lot of cacao powders. Cacao is one of the highest plant-based sources of magnesium. This one stands out for its smooth flavor and fine texture. It's not as dark as some, but it blends well in everything from protein shakes to homemade hot chocolate without clumping or leaving gritty bits. I use cacao in my coffee every morning and so does everyone in my household. The taste is bold and deep but not bitter, which is great when I want to skip added sugar. I also use it for baking, and it’s been perfect for organic muffins, brownies, chocolate yogurt frozen treats, and even homemade granola bars. This large bag lasts a long time. We usually go through 3 cacao powder bags this size a month, though. LOL. Price-wise, it is a less than the other's we get. So if you want a budget-friendly option - this would be it. It’s certified organic, which is a must for me, and the quality is consistent with each scoop. Note: I haven't delved into all the sourcing data for certification copies like I have with others. This is great organic cacao powder, nice quality, and has a lovely authentic chocolate flavor. It’s ground very fine, smooth and not gritty, and dissolves into hot or cold liquids very easily, no clumping. I’ve used it in smoothies, for baking, and for hot chocolate, and the chocolate taste is lovely and deep and rich but not bitter or cloying at all. The 16 ounce bag is packaged well, with a zip closure for easy resealing, and I love that it’s certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fits nicely into my dietary needs. The ingredients are simple enough—just pure cacao; there are no sugars, fillers or strange ingredients, just cacao. It dissolves nicely in my morning protein shakes, and it does lend that genuine chocolate flavor to brownies and muffins without needing as much sugar to be tasty. The color is a very nice dark brown, indicating a quality cacao, and it smells pleasantly chocolatey when you open the bag. Overall this is a good amount of product for the price, and lasts me a reasonable time with frequent use. Recommended if you’re looking for a good cacao for healthy recipes or baking!

taste great and very satisfying

Newer bag of this product not as well-refined as old one mentioned below. There are little hard bits in the powder that are impossible to stir out. Stored properly, this cocoa lasted some 3+ years in my cupboard - there were no clumps in the old bag. I found it recently, made some hot cocoa for breakfast & enjoyed it SO much! I stopped drinking coffee years ago, was drinking non-caffeine teas instead. But this is so much better, tastier & satisfying. YUM I just put a tablespoon in a heated mug with a packet of sucralose sweetener (the one recommended by dieticians). Twelve ounces of cold milk from the fridge takes c. 2-1/2 min. to get hot (not boiling) in my microwave. Just pour a few ounces of the hot milk in the mug, stir thoroughly, then add the rest of the milk slowly, easy peasy. The lift is gentle, no caffeine jangles. This cocoa is a satisfying morning beverage that I intend to stick with for the foreseeable future (even with the little lumps).

Very good. This lasted me exactly 2 months. Organic, with antioxidants, dark chocolate flavour with the less sugar you add, of course. Having cocoa like this allows you to make your hot chocolates to taste! Better than buying, say, an $8 box of pre-mixed cocoa with all the bad stuff in it every few weeks or so. I highly recommend this. I personally am not a fan of Dutch cocoa, as I have seen some people have not enjoyed this product so much. This cacao powder is rich and chocolatey without being bitter. It blends easily into smoothies and baking, and I like that it’s organic and unsweetened so I can control the flavor myself. Great quality for the price.

No contiene azúcar , es el cacao natural. Tiene un aroma y sabor delicioso!!! Sédese que lo empece a tomar se me quitó esa como anciedad por el dulce y sobre todo por el comer galletas y pasteles de chocolate por lo mismo que sentía que me faltaba dulce. Lo súper recomiendo!!! Ojalá y hubiera la opción de planee y ahorre para que nunca falte!!
