I recently got this bin to help comply with new compost rules and let me tell you - money well-spent! We use one side for compost, one side for regular trash and have really enjoyed the design of this bin in particular. It has a soft close, easy step pedals and removable bin inserts on each side which will help keep it clean. I wanted to knock off 1/2 a star for the noise it makes when it slams against the wall but...that's more a factor of where I chose to put it, not the product's fault. That said - the lids open all the way past 90 degrees and quickly, so keep that in mind if you put it against a wall/cabinet. Lastly, this completely contains any odor from the compost and keeps things clean in the kitchen. Very satisfied!

I love this trash can! The sections are smaller than a normal trash can and normal trash bags are just a bit too big around the edges. But it’s a nice color and fingerprint resistant. The hinges are quiet and open/ close really nicely. It’s very sturdy and mostly metal.

Each side has a 10 gallon capacity. So it may mean emptying one or the other side out quite often with a larger family. Very clean and aesthetic. Quiet while opening and closing and easy use. Our three year-old granddaughter was so proud of herself for being able to put trash and or recycle where it belonged.

Compared to other trash bins (I did my research), this is a great value. Not only is it attractive but somehow it simplifies the trash and recycling chore. No set up at all. Just open the box and you are in the trash and recycling business. Quality throughout! The inside hard plastic buckets with handles are a great feature which makes putting new bags on and cleaning same a snap. My favorite feature? Is the hydraulics on the bin covers that insure that the covers won't ever slam. They glide quietly back to the closed position. Would highly recommend purchasing this. For the money- it's a great value.

Love having one can for trash and recycling. The lids open softly. The last one I had opened hard and would hit the wall. This one is great and came in good condition. I got the vinyl stickers sperate and makes a good addition.

I recently moved into a county that collects both trash and recycling on different days. My previous county did the separations at their facility. I wanted a neat and clean way to get rid of trash and recycling without taking up a bunch of space. This can is pretty big, but when you consider the area it would take up to have two separate cans or a can and a basket, this is actually a space saver. Fortunately, I have just the right spot. Shipping and unboxing were easy. The exterior design is sleek and attractive, and easy to clean. The interior shell makes adding and removing bags a breeze. The hydraulic lids close gently and quietly. I am very happy with this product.
