Makes gigging easy(ish)
I must admit when I opened the package I was not overly impressed, it just seemed like a lump of metal, which is exactly what it is, it also seemed a bit low (I am 6ft), I find my old stand gave me a back ache, as I had to stoop a little (I like to stand whilst playing), still I took it to my rehearsals, then did some gigs with the stand. Now I would not part with it for the world (a bit excessive I know).I was used to carrying some scaffolding on stage that knocked everything in sight, guitars, bass and drums. The column stand does not get in the way of anything, all the arms and metal feet are packed inside the column, I have set the arms at highest and this makes the top (lead) keyboards really easy and accessible to play, no back ache, the keyboard below can still be seen, making changing sound banks very easy. All in all any Keyboard player who is playing live a lot will love this thing.Solid, cool and compact.

Quality build
Best keyboard stand available, easily holds my 2 heavy keyboards. The boom mic stand saves so much setup time at gigs. Delivery was prompt. 😊

Very disappointing and not worth the money.
I've had this for about a month and only used it at one gig. I use a Kronos2 on the lower tier and the lower bracket cannot keep the keyboard level. Every time I straighten it, the bracket slowly slips down the column and that is not accetable. At the end of a 90 minute gig the bracket has slipped down so much it's uncomfortable to play the Kronos2. The Kronos2 is a heavy keyboard but well within the stated weight limit.Same problem with the upper tier, but not to the same extent. That's probably because it's got a Korg Karma on it, which is a fairly lightweight keyboard. It looks great and it's just about useable, but in my view does not comply with the manufacturers claims. Not worth the £150 price tag, but probably OK if your only going to use two (very) lightweight keyboards.I'll probably go back to my old Bespeco X stand and extensions. Had it over 10 years with no problems and it easily supports the Kronos2 and Karma. Doesn't look as good but does exactly what it says on the tin, which is more than can be said for the Apex.

Save me from the X stands !
Great product - stable, easy to use, and adaptable - very good. A lot a lot of bits and pieces to lose / damage, but spares and add-ons are available.

Stable and strong
Superb stability and ease of construction. Comfortably took two heavy weighted keyboards. Looks great on stage. Folds down for easy transport

Stand was delivery very fast. It was easy to build up and take down. A quality product through and through. Would recommend to any musician either home based or gigging.

unstable, poorly designed
I bought this almost 2 months ago, and due to a studio move was unable to find the time to open it until today. I had high expectations and thought it would be fantastic, but it is by far the worst (and most expensive) keyboard stand I've owned. It is very unstable due to its triangular design, despite having a footprint of more than double the depth of any keyboard. In fact, the footprint is a lot larger than even huge keyboards such as the Roland XV88. As a result of this instability and massive footprint, this stand and the keyboard will stick out almost a metre from the wall you have it up against, which is almost unusable in most rooms and studio situations, unless you have a huge space. It looks pretty from the front, and would look impressive in a live situation, but sadly looks is as far as this item goes. The quality isn't great, the legs don't all ''snap'' into place as described in the manual, and it feels like the legs will break off at the hinges because you have to use such force whenever you put it together or take it down. Due to a studio move, received the item 2 months ago and was unable to open it until now, so of course no refund for me. I now have to find the time to list this stand on ebay and search for something else- failing that, this will have to go in the bin. I don't see how I can even sell it on ebay without risking getting bad feedback. If you own a light keyboard and use it only in live gigs with a large stage, then go ahead and purchase if you like, but if you're in a studio or room situation, or you have any larger keyboard, buy something more sturdy that takes up less space; there are plenty alternatives out there that are a million times better than this.
