I have a small round Tefal raclette set but this one is great for a greater number of people and longer tables.It has square dishes which makes sense as the raclette cheese is normally cut in squares rather than the triangle shapes of dishes used for many similar machines. I would suggest also ordering wooden spatulas to help get the cheese out of the dishes, as otherwise the non-stick risks getting scratched. Raclette is a wonderfully simple, easy and good for sharing meal which can be adapted according to taste. I usually keep the potatoes warm in a dish on top of the grill part (you can also grill vegetables and meat on the top if you prefer), serve cold cuts of meat and the raclette cheese on separate serving plates so everyone can take and grill as much as they like. A perfect and sociable meal!
