Works flawlessly as described, but I only use it at home because I don’t want to damage it when I travel and it’s not small. It doesn’t speed up charging or improve it in any way that I can tell, but it works as described and is fine in my home office.

This charger was purchased in the Kindle Signature Edition Bundle. This is a nice charging stand for the Kindle. The bottom part where the Kindle rests is rubberized to provide a good hold on the Kindle. The back part is fabric lined so it will protect your Kindle if you choose not to use a case. It is a wireless charger so all you have to do is place the Kindle on the stand to charge it. It has no trouble charging my new Kindle with the case on it and it charged whether or not the case cover was open or closed. When you place the Kindle on the charger, a white led lights up to indicate it is charging. If I have one complaint, it is that the white led does not turn off after the Kindle is fully charged. It would be nice if it would blink while charging and glow solid when fully charged. Without this feature, I have to open the cover to check the charging status. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have that feature. The stand is not heavy, but it weighs enough to not slide around when placing your Kindle in it. I have no fear of it moving or tipping over. Overall, it's a good charger with only the led light being a minor gripe for me.

I got my kindle color soft and had to have this wireless charger!!! It’s nice to just set it down and go about my day / night and not have to worry about my kindle getting charged or not. I will say it charges very slowly once it reaches a certain point so it doesn’t overcharge I guess and mess the battery up. I was confused as to why my kindle was at 99% after being on it all night. Found out that was why. No big deal though. Nice quality and feel to it an easy to use just plug in a go!

This has some weight to it signifying higher end materials and componets. The plug end part snaps firmly in and stays in place in back of unit. So no accidental disconnect from power source. The heavy duty power block takes up real estate of 2 wall plugs outlets. It has a reasonably lengthed cord. The resting pad is of a non slip material so once Kindle is docked its secure in place. Operational lights are bright and clear ..one light shows depending on status.. packing box is well padded and protected an reusable molded form for moving or storeage. So far no major issues with unit. A nice addition for Kindle users.

Bought a new kindle - saw this and thought why not? I love it! Read and then put my book to charge by setting it in the holder. No plugs- nothing. Perfection and worth every penny.

Works perfectly, keeps my kindle charged, my only problem with it is the power/charging light is quite bright so it has a nice piece of tape covering it now
