So, first experience. This is my first time eating honeycomb or ever ordering it online! For those nervous to try it here’s a concise walkthrough of my experience. PACKAGING ~*~ It took four days for my honey to arrive with Amazon Prime due to the odd time in which I ordered it. It arrived in a padded envelope at my door. Upon opening the package, I was saved from a sticky disaster from any light leakage thanks to the honeycomb box being wrapped in bubble wrap! I was prepared for leaking, so I got a warm washcloth as I snipped off the bubble wrap to start cleaning off the exterior of the box. Honey is primarily sugar, so a little bit of warm water and rubbing will get it off quickly. Then, I ripped off the green exterior wrapper and popped it open! I took the sticky lid, and rinsed it with a brief flash of hot water in the sink. Clean as a whistle. There lied my honeycomb! The honey had NOT crystallized, despite cold temperatures in my area. The honeycomb was intact and lovely. TASTE ~*~ The honey itself has this background bouquet I couldn’t put my fingers on. It wasn’t so overwhelmingly sweet that it made my mouth hurt, it was simply delicious. I was finally able to taste the flavor notes of the honey because the honey wasn’t torching my tongue with sugar. It’s a very rich honey. The beeswax is crumbly, and can become rather uncomfortable in your mouth by itself. For the best experience, I would eat comb-thin slices of this stuff on other foods. It blends into the mash of whatever else you’re eating and swallows easily. I had mine on toast, and I was in heaven.

Great flavor and high quality product. I always buy one when whole foods puts it on sale.

This Honey is delicious! It is mildly sweet and fantastic with charcuterie, and simple breads. This is beautiful and so fun if you’re looking to try honey comb for the first time. It is a small package but with plenty of honey for the taste. One of my packages was crushed and leaked honey everywhere, the plastic box is not great for the money spent but I really think it was more of a shipping issue. Amazon refunded for everything in the package that was ruined.

Best Honey

Amazing flavor, but website is cheaper than on here now. 32$ is too much for this product when half the container leaks upon shipping. If it's lowered back to 29$ as it is on the website I'll buy again
