Update, casa brew sent me a portafilter holder that works perfectly at no extra charge. This machine does a wonderful job of grinding coffee beans but the portafilter holders do not work for a 51mm portafilter. I have contacted Casa brews and they have promised to provide a cradle that works with the 51mm portafilter. I will update my rating if they do send one and it holds the portafilter properly.

For being a first timer, this grinder is excellent. I can now buy a bag of fresh roasted beans from my local shop and have drinks all week, even on days I have to be at work before they open. Simple to use once you get the grind size right and the process. I was told to make 15g of grounds produce 30g of coffee and I think I’ve got it dialed in pretty close. Love this thing.NOTE: I’m also using-casabrews bottomless portafilter-casabrews tamper-casabrews espresso machine- casabrews milk frother pitcherTurns out a pretty darn good latte. Have also made americanos which beat any drip coffee I’ve ever had. The grinder works great. The little container for storing coffee is kinda meh. But it does its job. And I couldn’t get the portafilter to work to grind directly into it. It doesn’t always trigger for the full grind due to vibration.

For now it works very well, and is super easy, I would have liked it if the lid had sealed better but everything is great.

Es tan inconsistente que hasta mi cafetera se rindió. Literalmente dejó de funcionar al ver lo que le estaba echando. No la culpo.Y lo mejor (léase: lo peor) es que si tienes la osadía de usarlo por más de 10 segundos, empieza a oler a plástico quemado. ¿Moler café? No. Este aparato fue diseñado para moler esperanzas y paciencia. Estoy convencido de que fue ensamblado como experimento para medir cuánta frustración humana puede causar un electrodoméstico barato.Casabrews, con todo respeto (y cero cariño): retiren esta porquería del mercado. Hagan un favor a la humanidad y destruyan todas las unidades que tengan en stock. En serio. Esto no es un producto. Es un castigo disfrazado de electrodoméstico.Definitivamente No lo compres. No lo regales. No lo aceptes gratis. Si lo ves, cambia de acera. Cualquier molino en el mundo es mejor y tiene más precisión y potencia que este “molino”. Ojalá pudiera darle menos de una estrella, pero Amazon no me deja invocar números negativos.

So far it’s been great. Works well. Cleans up easily.

Just received this today and it doesn't even work. It gives me e1 error code. I've cleaned it many times and made sure the hopper was locked properly but no luck at all.March 12,2025So update with my review, their customer service reached out to me and said they'll send me a replacement for the unit with no charge at all.
