so the red parts bushings are all great quality . after a few drives the ball joint are loose so i’m replacing them with the TTX ones another person recommend . maybe they can be tightened up but i didn’t get a warm fuzzy with them getting loose so fast . After i replace them ball joints they should last ! Took my truck on a 1800 miles road trip 200 on bad dirt roads no issues, Highly recommend for the price

21 Tacoma. For the price they look just like brand x. Very heavy and hefty. Part comes ungreased so he's you have to buy or have a grease gun. Grease zerks come in a bag of 6 and you only need 4. It's for a reason, you slightly over tighten and they break. Luckily I have tools to back the broken zerk out. Ball joint comes without nuts tighten and are loose in the box. I was missing 2 nuts which looks like it fell out the box so I can't install until I go to hardware store and get some new nuts. I have owned brand x ucas and they are at least 90% like the name brand ones. For the price I'm ok with these.

If you looked at these and thought they looked a lot like a certain brand of UCAs, you’d be right. These are essentially a “Made in China” version of the fairly well known American brand that looks identical to these. The big advantage here is that they cost a fraction of the price for a very similar product. Now, I’m a big proponent of buying American-made products and supporting small businesses so if you can afford to do so, please do. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative. This is one of the better options on Amazon. First off, these are built to factory spec so they are not the “high caster” setup many other UCAs offer. They will not alter factory geometry but they do allow you to run an extended travel shock to lift your truck. That is because they have what is essentially the same ball joints that are used in the American-made product. You just wont be able to count on the higher caster to help move the tire forward in the wheel well and clear the body mounts. These are a nice strong tube construction like many others and they actually have a few more reinforcements than others. One of the disadvantages is that the weld lines aren’t quite as clean as you get with a higher price point. These are able to be greased through the zerk fittings for easy maintenance. I recommend you grease every 5000 miles with oil changes for optimum performance. If you’ve lifted your truck recently and need aftermarket UCAs for better articulation, these will certainly perform the job. They’re not as good as some of the American made brands but I gave them 5 stars because they will definitely do the job at a much lower price point and they should hold up well to abuse. You can also replace the ball joints easily in the future which is a huge bonus. If you can’t pay the price for a premium UCA, these are a great budget option.

Based on other review of the similarity to another well known UCA I wondered if this is rebuildable or replaceable. So I purchases a Mevotech TTX series ball joint that is known at an emergency solution to rebuild Brand X UCA and it fit perfectly. This ball joint is originally off a Chevy K1500 but off-road guys have used it to replace 4Runner, FJ and GX ball joints on Brand X . It’s possible to use this UCA then on both Tacomas and 4Runners etc if you account for the different spindles on those two vehicles. Sicmod at your own risk.

It’s doing its job and holding strong. It’s beefier than the oem uca’s and now I’m able to lift the truck 3 inches and have it realigned. Will see how well they hold over time after some trails.
